    This is EXACTLY how the news gets people addicted to believing overhyped situations so easily, they KNOW this information!

    Excellent. My 1 solid take away is this: avoid Why.
    "Why did you do it that way?"
    vs. "I'm curious, what made you want to do it that way?"
    The difference in how those questions feel is powerful.

    • @THEYOUNGSCAR69
      @THEYOUNGSCAR69 3 года назад

      You only want to use WHY when you want someone to defend you. "Why would you work with me over someone else?"

    Josh, well done! The reason you were able to go so in depth was because you had already studied and lived the material. I agree that the book is worth reading multiple times...and this interview is well worth re-watching! Thank you!

    Listened to this on my walk today and the role play segment was highly entertaining and reveleaing. Josh, by putting yourself out there by being vulnerable and tongue tied (also fanning over Chris) was the predictability I was rewarded with. Signing up to the masterclass.

    It is the best interview with Mr. Voss. You asked some real interesting questions. With big pleasure, I would interview you the same way. As a representative of the first and biggest Sales Association in the country of Georgia, I can say that you share very important information about sales and negotiations for free, and it is very generous from you. It would be an immense pleasure for me if I had a chance to set up an online meeting in which you would share your experience with Georgians.

    Awesome, phenomenal interview!! No surprise at all that you were really well prepared🙌🏽🙌🏽. There were so many ‘new’ notes that I picked up on because of the questions you asked. Love how you highlighted and dug into the ‘insight’ aspect of these listening/learning techniques. It truly seems like we’re peering into another dimension of emotional intelligence.
    This is going to sound really greedy and ‘brownnosey’. Any advice on how to schedule a time to role play the 60 seconds or she dies scenario? It’d be an honor to get some reps in with you..
    Regardless,
    Looking forward to what our collective lives are like as we continue to implement these skills over the next year, five years, ten years and so on.
    Exciting times..
    Thank you 🙏🏽

    I checked the stuff on the website. These actionable training modules, they could be worded a lot better. They don't deliver on being concise, easy to understand, easy to use because they are not so clearly worded. Maybe it's because I still have so much to learn about communicating.

    I really appreciate the content so far. I’m hearing two different audio streams it sounds like. Is that an issue in the recording or is it potentially my listening devices? It sounds like a very low volume other conversation that someone else is having. So it kind of makes it hard to hear some of the more quieter things you say or ask Mr. Voss. Anyway, really like the video so far and I’m only 16 minute in.

    I’m curious for the role play how could Chris have went about it without asking what about triathlons make you so passionate, would a label be more effective in this moment. I’m trying to figure out when to use a question and when to use a label

    • @davidrojas3494
      @davidrojas3494 2 года назад +1

      Seems like you start with what and who questions to get information out of the other person. As soon as you notice an emotion, use a label to call it out. Im guessing you keep doing this until you get a that's right.

    "I want a car out front in 60 seconds or she dies."
    Who dies?
    60 seconds??
    There are a lot of cars out front right now. You want the keys to one of them. How am I supposed to get you the keys?
    How will you know I got a car for you in 60 seconds?
    I can get you a car with no gas, it's running on empty. But I met your request.
    Or she dies.... but how do I know she doesn't die if I do get the car in 60 seconds?
    It sounds like you need to get out of here in a hurry.
    It's good to know you want to get out of here alive.
    It sounds like you don't have a lot of guys with you or you want to leave some of them behind.

    Humility!
    The virtue of humility is a muscle that needs to be exercised. Sadly, we don't realize that the Bible contains Chris Voss's principles and his Black Swan Group applies Judaism fulfilled in Catholicism because we have forgotten that Jesus is God!
    God never split the difference ever! He died rather than tell lie He didn't love you!
    Embrace everything that empowers you to be the great saint you are meant to be so you get to heaven! The Catholic Church is God on earth through terrible sinful and repenting Christians!
    Seek first to understand! God knows us better than our selves! We are wonderfully made and we are made in the image and likeness of God! Science finally catching up to Catholicism!
