I remember seeing this band live at a DGD headliner show before I knew who they were & they were very impressive especially being able to do unique time signatures on drums and vocals at the same time like that
Brenton Judd I went to that tour as well in Portland , and they blew my mind! Didn’t they play their EP ? Donovan was insane. Hooked after the first song
“As we have the conversation, I express my indecision.. Living now instead of living for an afterlife!” I can’t stop replaying the last bit of the song... You guys are amazing, and I’ll definitely be seeing y’all in Orlando!
secret war has an extremely similar sound, i wouldnt be surprised if they wrote this album at the same time and secret wars was either used as a marketing tool to sell this album to the label, or just something they did on the side while warming up for this release. Either way it sounds awesome.
After the first couple listens to Culture scars i was incredibly disappointed but it eventually grew on me. Wake was just first listen bliss. I have high hopes for this album
I absolutely love both but preferred Wake myself. Secret Wars EP felt like a good middle ground, and this definitely feels like the evolution of their sound.
so fucking good, so glad I found these guys. this is exactly what I was looking for back in the day as a little emo kid also into prog. even though it's 12 years later I am so happy with this.
For those saying this sounds like a pickup from wake and culture scars Hail The Sun spoke about how it is supposed to be a mix of the 2 albums so the sounds will be similar but also different, so far I’m loving this shit can’t wait to see more from these guys
Es increíble como esta banda sigue evolucionando sin dejar ese toque que los distingue de todas las demás bandas, GRANDISIMOS, no puedo esperar a poder escuchar este nuevo álbum!
I love their direction right now. I fell in love with Wake and then Culture Scars was disappointing in my opinion. But Secret Wars was amazing and now the two singles are perfect. It's the high energy that gets me and the emotion. I'm excited for this.
Donovans screams always sounded great but they shine so much more as the music grows, this too is absolutely incredible
2:21, doing vocals while doing blastbeats. You absolute madman.
These lyrics are SO GOOD. I cannot _wait_ for this new album, I just know it’s going to be incredible!
Myotic Tesseract super irrelevant, but how do italic

The Rock Yourself to Sleep Tour was the year Swancore was unleashed on the world!
FatLikeKessel I saw them at the end of 2016 whenever Dgd released mothership
same man! wake tour 2015? during instant gratification for dgd in sac. shit was so wild i couldn't even process how good it was
One of, if not, thee best song they’ve ever wrote. Like Wake cranked up to 12. Perfect.
“As we have the conversation, I express my indecision.. Living now instead of living for an afterlife!”

I SEEN THEM 3 TIMES.... WILL BE A 4TH. YEEEESSSSSSSSSSS. ALL HAIL HAIL THE SUN.
Saw them about six months ago on their first UK tour after waiting for four years. Praying it won't be as long a wait for another one haha.
I just randomly clicked on this band. I like them, they sound like their from that era of the 2000s when rock music started to change.
Jade Dorley Check out their album Elephantitis and ep Secret wars man . You will not be dissapointed :)
Elephantitis is their best, imo.
jakeinator21 By far :)
They came out when metal core died and prog rock took over
I really love this band, Wake is where I discovered them and my god this album is coming out strong! I really hope they tour and make it to FL again!!
This is so good, can't wait for the album!
Yo this is awesome, found some new summer jams. Really bringing back some 2007-2010 vibes
How do they come out with music so fast. They just released secret war
Isaac Wolf: Music lmao they finished recording this on february....... crazy, right?
secret war has an extremely similar sound, i wouldnt be surprised if they wrote this album at the same time and secret wars was either used as a marketing tool to sell this album to the label, or just something they did on the side while warming up for this release. Either way it sounds awesome.
Before that they had culture scars. ... says online that secret wars was an EP. still though
Isaac Wolf: Music they're musicians
Niko Castro let's compare them to other mainstream bands who typically take two years to make an album.
It's disgusting how God damn stellar of a jam this is 🤘
#HailTheSun are talented musicians. Thank you always for the music .
Sounds like theyre picking up where wake left off. Which i am totally ok with. Culture scars was good, but nowhere near as great as wake.
I agree 10000000%. I honestly didnt enjoy Culture at all
After the first couple listens to Culture scars i was incredibly disappointed but it eventually grew on me. Wake was just first listen bliss. I have high hopes for this album
I absolutely love both but preferred Wake myself. Secret Wars EP felt like a good middle ground, and this definitely feels like the evolution of their sound.
I've seen lots of people say that but I don't understand why. What's the negatives to Culture Scars compared to Wake?
Jason Clarke to me, it was more cohesive, technically proficient, and easier to connect with.
Phenomenal Song! I'm looking forward to this new record. Hail the Sun can do no wrong!
Killer track guys! Can't wait for the new album to come out 🌸
OMG IM SO READY FOR THIS ALBUM !!!!!!!
1:35 is my favorite part
A fan from 5 years ago. They never fail to amaze me. I love this band so much.
How do you keep making perfect music so quick?!
Also half xana tv
"Even if you don't believe, there are those who still eat meaaat."
😂😂😂
The lyrics the vocals the music it’s all so damn good
This is so perfect! I'm so ready to hear the full album
so fucking good, so glad I found these guys. this is exactly what I was looking for back in the day as a little emo kid also into prog. even though it's 12 years later I am so happy with this.
I am pleasantly surprised that hail the sun continues to keep this up. I love it and am eager to see this continue.
Holy shit wasn't expecting this! It sounds so good!!
THEY ARE GROWING SO MUCH! WHAT A GOOD SONG!
For those saying this sounds like a pickup from wake and culture scars Hail The Sun spoke about how it is supposed to be a mix of the 2 albums so the sounds will be similar but also different, so far I’m loving this shit can’t wait to see more from these guys
Today has been a good day
I'm barely done learning Culture Scars and you guys are already putting out more quality stuff.. amazing!
& don't forget the EP they released last november, Secret Wars; it's my favourite release by HTS so far
*daddy donovan did it again*
Hail the sun have been fucking killing it.
I lOVE IT
Loving it
Es increíble como esta banda sigue evolucionando sin dejar ese toque que los distingue de todas las demás bandas, GRANDISIMOS, no puedo esperar a poder escuchar este nuevo álbum!
What i find interesting is that the drummer is also the lead vocalist. Kinda like the eagles
And screamer
Here we go
Who the fuck raises their kids in a way that would lead to them disliking this video
I though this comment was going in a VERY different direction lmao
The lyrics 👌
Holy shit you guys are back!
Fuck I missed Elephantitis era so much
You guys are me number one band :)
You know the song is gonna be noice when it starts with blastbeats.
Matthew Higginson Ayyyy it's you again. Hope to hear some on new KsE too.
Blastbeats? There are no blastbeats in this song. Or really any of their songs lol this is hail the sun... not a death metal band.
@@jeffbell4434 2:22 onwards
holllyy! and a track upload? bro - how lucky are we.
Sounds like a follow up to Falling on Deaf Ears from the WAKE album

Baka Fudge thanks, person
Their best works are Wake>Secret Wars EP>Elephantitis EP in that order. Have fun. Lots of good music to discover.
sure just skip Culture Scars out of the picture. Elephantitis>Wake>Culture Scars>Secret Wars>POW Right in the Kisser!*
Elephantitis>Wake>Secret Wars>POW Right in the Kisser!>Culture Scars*
😭😭😭😭😭
Why is youtube barley recommending me this?
Disappearing syndrome/ falling on deaf ears part 2
Why's that scream sounds so familiar? Who are these guys?
Donavan Melero is the lead and the drummer and the scream
Wait didn't they already have a song called suffocating syndrome on another album? Pretty sure it was wake
Dissapearing syndrome about elisa lam
GOOD LORD DONNY
finally a normal track ...love it:)
SAOSIN Revival, sounds great.
Luis Cuervo :|
The screams kinda sound like Emery, anyone else hear the same?
God he reminds me of the guy from saosin
Song fucking destroys.
I just came
:D
Fucking love this band, they didn't go full gay like a lot like birds who used to make heaps good music also, bummer at least we still got these guys!
Gay?? Dude are you from fucking 2006? Lmao
This just sounds like everything else lol
I love their direction right now. I fell in love with Wake and then Culture Scars was disappointing in my opinion. But Secret Wars was amazing and now the two singles are perfect. It's the high energy that gets me and the emotion. I'm excited for this.
