Ive seen a few people describing phantom as a sequel to the movie. I dont think you should think of it like that, its a sequel to the first book which is adapted in the new series. Watch the manticore arc of the new series and then watch phantom or watch all of the new series and then watch phantom. Dont bother with the movie
Is there a recommended order in what to read or watch? I am finishing up on the anime now, but if there is a preferred order I'd much rather follow that.
FutureAlienman I suggest you tead “Boogiepop and Others”... then you can watch “Boogiepop Phantom” series if you like (12 episodes). After that you may read “Boogiepop returns: vs Imaginator” and subsequent novels... there’s a total of 21 novels as of 2019.
They’re re-releasing novels 1, 2 and 3 into one big book (called omnibus)... also books 4, 5, and 6!! Books 4 and 5 had never been published in English before!!
Thankful for this. Recently got to the end and thinking...i like this...and i dont know why or even how?
