  • Welcome to another cooking video RUclips Family, today's recipe is one for the cookingbook. I am whole heartily pleased with my very 1st time cooking Curry Crab. My husband is the master at it, and I was up for the challenge, and of course, I delivered. Let's just say I got praise not just from my husband but from non shell food consumers that they will drink some benadryl and enjoy. It was that much of a big deal. So here's how I did it.
    INGREDIENTS:
    Crab ( I had 7, quantity is optional)
    Curry / Tumeric powder
    Stoch Bonnet pepper
    Onion
    Garlic cloves & and garlic powder
    Scallion
    Thyme
    Black Pepper
    Paprika
    Parsley ( FRESH would be even better)
    Olive 🫒 oil
    Step 1: If your crab is wild caught like mine , thoughly clean with a brush. Ensure the limbs are all scrub and clean.
    Step 2: Season with only the dry seasonings, apply pot to the stove, and add oil ( I used Olive 🫒 oil ). When your pot is warm, add veggies to the pot and sautéed them for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Step 3: After sautéed veggies are to your liking , add Curry/ Tumeric powder to the pot and gently stir before adding the crab in.
    Step 4: After adding the crab, put a lid on the pot, ensuring the stove is on medium to low heat. Stir occasionally ( 5 to 7 minutes) just ensuring each part soaks up the seasoning and cooks properly.
    Step 5: After 25 to 30 minutes, it will be ready to eat. You can add veggies to the pot about 10 minutes before done or cook rice or whatever you would like to eat with your crab.
