Hey Bob! Really awesome Video! It looked really challenging, yet fun at the same time! Would be happy if i could ride these cool dirt roads wih my RD07a. Greets
to make sure u are in first downshift from second to first more times right before take ur foot of !!! its not a big tip but thats helps me a lot to make me sure i downshift to first and i dont get dead time on neutral!!!!
There's a limit what you can do in the heat. Saw 110* degrees in Utah riding the TAT and it totally drained my energy. Tom needs to get a XTZ 750 Super Ténéré.😁
Riding a 1993 RD07 for years now and not even once have I downshifted from second into neutral, unless it was on purpose... It is usually not that "easy" without wanting to.... unless ofcourse you are too soft on the pedal or have clutch/lever problems ... just saying.... Al said.... awesome video... would you mind telling us where that is?? It looks very spanish.....looks challenging ;-)
@@BeanzBob Ahh yeah Cyprus, that makes sense.... We have very similar, and hot, landscapes where I live in Spain, so doing this as much as I can also.. Thx for reply... have fun.. looking forward to your next vid....
@@dockingtroll6801 nice one. Yeah it's a different kind of riding in these landscapes 😁. Looking forward to my next video myself. Thanks for your support. Appreciate it.
The reservoir was at the start of the ride. Body core temperatures were still in the green zone at that point lol. But I wouldn't have hesitated if it was later on when the crisis started 😅
@@Geff1967 I'd love a shimmering chrome infused jacket.. Hahaha.. seriously tho this is the Leatt X-FLOW enduro jacket. It's fantastic for hot weather riding. It's my helmet that needs changing to a much more vented one. My head was cooking.
Disabling stabilization looked pretty cool actually, especially seeing an older bike made it feel like a much older video, retro style
I just have a goPro 9, I put it on my helmet and hit record - this was the result. Thanks for the views and comments - I really appreciate it.

Very nice route and difficult. This dry and hot landscape reminds me a lot of Greece.I agree with the decision to buy tenere extreme
I'm sure it's Cyprus no?

Hey man... thanks for your comment. Well Tom and I are more likely to get the new Tenere Extreme. Its the perfect ADV bike in both our opinions.
Yes this looked fun but pretty challenging, where about are you guys books like Spain?
@@ortegastix thanks mate. Cyprus actually. Gonna be 39 degs tomorrow 🥵

Rather hot and sweaty fun😂 Good effort. Where is this?
@@NK-dl2nc Cyprus Bro. Have you been? It's lovely for riding between October and April. But I ride all the time anyway lol
Where is that place?

There was a body of water! Why didnt you jump in?
I did that in Monte Grappa recently several times. Full dressed. Heatstroke is serious, man!

How did you get so many views on this video? Nice work.
@@PrasaaraNa hey bro.. I shared this one in the xrv FB groups that's why. 😊
@@BeanzBob Thanks for the info.
Quite risky and fun
I kind of liked it when you lost video stabilization mid-video. It was more realistic...
@@vzaliva interesting. Nowadays with the stabilisation, I'd imagine nobody wants shaky footage anymore
Wearing all black on a hot sunny day? Not the best choice.
