Maybe the reason Se7ven failed in WCW was because it hit even closer to home. Though tbh I often wonder if Goldust wasn't a proxy for Vince's questioning of his own sexuality. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with any sexuality. What I'm saying is Vince "love[d] women" yet had a strange fascination with the male physique, It could be that he merely admired the penultimate male anatomy for its rugged and chiseled structure while the classic female anatomy provided a softness and welcoming sensation he never received from either parent. Who knows? I know the man is twisted and sees things in his own way....and that's ok, until he harms others with it. But yeah, I can't help but wonder how many WWE characters exist solely because of McMahon's personal demons.
