    This song is sooo uplifting!!
From what I understand, this MV is trying to show different challenges faced by youth nowadays and this the explaination for the MV:
    1) Peniel is a new firefighter. When he got to the car accident scene, he did CPR to the lady but got pushed away by his senior because the patient doesn't need CPR (you can clearly see that the patient is still moving so her heart is definitely still beating). I think this is a rookie mistake maybe because he was nervous. He was beating himself up later because of it and his senior felt bad for him.. The patient survived and came to thank them and the senior also credited Peniel for the rescue mission. When the patient thank Peniel, he was able to smile again and be a bit more confident.
    2) Eunkwang is a part-time librarian but he likes to study and was trying to get accepted into a university. He tries to study when he has the time for it but I think the manager of the library was nitpicking him about studying while he is still in his working hours and scolding him for being loud in the library (when he knocked over a stack of books). Then, he was accepted into the university and was able to study in the library properly without any interuption.
    3) Hyunsik is a poor art student. He has the talent but not the money. He tried to do odd jobs to get money for his art class fee but he got frustrated with his situation. But it all turns out alright in the end. I think maybe his teacher helped him when she saw Hyunsik's situation.
    4) Changsub is a fried chicken shop owner. I think his current shop is on rent but he dreamt of actually owning his own shop someday. He met picky and rude customers such as the one who throws his fried chicken to the floor. However, he kept himself from giving up and continue his dream by developing new recipes and sauces. At last, he was able to sign a contract to buy his own fried chicken shop.
    5) Minhyuk was studying to get a job. Based on his clothing, I think he might be studying to get a job as government officials or to get licensed for high-achieving job such as lawyer. If I'm not mistaken, these kind of exams usually happen only once per year. So if you fail, you can only take the exam again next year. These students usually only have part-time job or no job at all to concentrate on studying for the exam. That's why Minhyuk doesn't have a lot of money. He was waiting in front of a relatively cheaper shop but his girlfriend brings him to a cafe where things are relatively more expensive. His girlfriend understand his situation and paid for the meal. Because of this, Minhyuk was having mixed feeling of grateful and ashamed. He might also feels like his girlfriend is better of with someone better than him. So he suggested to break up but his girlfriend choose to stay with him and support him. He eventually succeeded in getting a job (I think a high paying job from his new look) and can now pay for meal during their date.
    6) Ilhoon is a radio DJ and received a lot of stories from his listener. I think all these stories made him realize what he wants in life and gives him courage to propose to his girlfriend.
    7) Sungjae is accepted into a university but he actually likes to make music. So he decided to go on a walking tour around the country to broaden his mind and think about his life choices. But the tour was not all sunshine as his feet begin to hurt and he ran out of water. However, help came in the form of rain and it rejuvenates him back. He gets inspired and writes this song to inspire others.

The song is an uplifting song. So the video tells how all people have their bad times but with trust, work and love it will become okay again. Thats why the stories aren't connected. So each viewer can see the own life in it a bit. Meaningful message.
When that song released all groups had uptempo dance songs. BtoB had the guts to break out of that "all the same" with this smooth song and it became an huge success. After this song many groups followed their example and released ballads.
I always, since I started with Kpop as Shinhwa Changjo around 2008, preferred live stages over musicvideos.
Koreans love drama for drama sake. So true. Love that. At that time all the breaking up for nothing, in the Kdramas too, became annoying. For dramas I can say they changed a lot. This breaking up cliche is not common anymore, luckily.

Omggg this is like the song that made me stan btob !!!
They blew up thanks to this song and cemented their position as one of the top BGs (plus VOCALS!)
The live version is even way better when the whole vocal line harmonize for the highnote and minhyuk, a rapper sing the last chorus

to me, the key to getting its okay is to connect with the lyrics and the way the members convey the emotion behind the words! highly recommend watching a performance with subtitles so you can get both at the same time for the best effect

When this song was released in 2015, it was most likely only targeted for Korean audiences to understand. I think that is why it is so difficult for non-Korean people to understand what is going on in the dramatized MV. But, the point is, they tried to portray different kinds of hardships people go through by acting in seven different roles. Also, this was their very first song to get First Place after like 3.5 years after their debut (2012) surprisingly.

Correction: this song definitely blew them up in Korea but it was Way Back Home from the same year that actually gave them first win on a music show😉

@@annafirnen4815 oh yea you are right. It was Way Back Home to get the 1st place on the music show. I think i was thinking about they chart in as first place with this song. Sorry for not making it clear and thanks for the correction.

I feel the same way for this song...the MV is too distracting whereas the dance version emphasizes the emotions so you get a lot more out of it. But you can never go wrong with a BTOB ballad. Although, I understand why you wouldn't listen to it all the time. I love ballads. I open my windows at night and blast them while I do dishes. It's like free therapy for me!

Thank you for reacting to this. IT'S OKAY is an uplifting song..giving hope and comfort to those who are feeling hopeless and tired of their daily struggle. Like what the showed in their MV, each of the characters is having a hard time with his life, his job or relationship.. Sungjae wanting to write a song needed to find inspiration elsewhere, thus, the walking tour. Changsub with his chicken delivery..Peniel with being a newbie on the job, Eunkwang wanting to study but working in the library, Hyunsik with his fees for his art class, Ilhoon with reading other's letters as a dj yet having a problem of his own and Minhyuk with balancing his studies and relationship. These are all struggles that anyone can relate to..and can make you feel hopeless and burdened. But as the song goes, it's okay.. these things happen but have courage and work hard, believe in yourself and everything will be okay. And in the end of the MV, all of them survived their problems..found a way to succeed and became happy and fulfilled in the end. It's a very good song and the dance version only made it much better. BTOB is famous for putting raps and choreo into their ballads. Another MV to check out is their WAY BACK HOME and this is also like a mini movie with healing lyrics of the song. Kindly check out the mv from 1theK channel for eng subs. Thank you.

As i always said to the video reactor, btob live performances is much better than their MV (most of btob mv not as spectacular as other group, and their early tittle track mv is toooooo long. like "Way back home" is 8min long MV). But if you watch their live show/performances nor concert, they will sing their feeling and emotion to the song
