My favorite part of this game's dueling was the tab dedicated to finishers for each character. They all had unique kill animations once your opponent had low enough health.
If they made a modern fighting game like this it would be absolutely insane. This game is still so good. I cant imagine how great a game with a full roster of characters, move-sets and a campaign would be.

What is everyone's opinion on who is the best duelist in the game? Personally, Dooku if you get into some of his unique punishes is great, but I have a few reasons why: 1: Best animations hands down, from a realistic dueling perspective. He has the neutral X which is great for spacing. Can throw an additonal lunge as well to force enemy backwards. Then for when the enemy gets too close, the larger "saber" strokes do a really good job. Plus the fact his animations are a combination of sabre, rapier, and longsword. (Am a HEMA nerd/practitioner so talking about swordplay is a must) 2: Force breakers are great, has the charged Y AOE that goes under blocks too. 3: Cinematically, one of his punishes I picked up was grasping your opponent and then hitting lightning. The enemy is immobilized while you shock them, it really makes you feel like Dooku from some of the Clone Wars.
Cin Drallig was like the Vergil of this game. His combos and movements are so fast its nuts. I love the rapid slash combo he does which hits the enemy like 6 times and leaves behind afterimages with every swing
There is actually are channel called Threepio that does actual tournaments of this game with skilled players and these games were actually hype So wish there was an online mod for this game

I remember constantly making my friends and siblings mad at me for constantly beating them with Vader. Slow attacks but VERY high damage, they get especially mad if I bait parries or saber locks😂

I Most Definitely like to play with All of the characters here, each of them have Awesome skill sets I also like if you fight the same characters, the other will look different and with a different colored Lightsaber as well

Newer fighting games like street fighter could probably be reskinned to fit Star Wars. Imagine Chun Li reskinned as Aayla Secura. Actually, on second thought, don’t do that.
I'm a Count Dooku main, while I love him I won't deny that people always say that Grievous or Serra are the best 'spam' heroes, I'll tell you right now, Its absolutely Dooku, they seriously over tuned his light string. Its a three hit string, two quick slashes into a stab, nothing special on the surface, third hit is chargeable to become unblockable as well as being able to change into an AOE special. So far sounds standard right? Well here's the thing, On hit, Dooku gets a mini mixup, doing a force dash or force grab (Dash counters block, Grab counters dodge) but on Block? He's insanely plus as he has no recovery at all! So he can just loop the string faster than anyone, try to mash out? Nah, your getting hit. Try to dodge? The AOE special will stop it and if you hesitate the charged version will catch you anyway. What's that? Your gonna try parrying him? Not happening because the block stun of the 2nd hit will prevent you from trying. Its honestly mad, the rest of his kit is pretty decent but not so mad like that.
