Avoiding VFR into IMC. Inadvertent icing while on descent on approach into Paso Robles - Beech Baron

In this video, we fly a Beechcraft baron, 55 from Camarillo, California to Paso Robles, California, and encounter a broken layer with light rhyme icing. via far into IMC is a known problem in general aviation that can be hazardous if not all the instrument flight plan. Flying IFR can sometimes take a little bit of extra time to pick up the clearance but offers the advantages of air, traffic control, separation services and in-flight advisories.
