I was in SG from 1998 to 2008, PR din before migrating here. Dumating ako sa SG 1998 then after 2 years my wife and 2 kids followed from Pinas. Around 2002 became PR, at that time automatic PR din ang 2 anak ko dahil isinama ko sa SG PR application. Exempted ako sa national service pero yung consider na next generation ko yung mga anak will be mandatory to serve national service at the age of 16. Ang hindi ko maintindihan yung sinasabi dito sa video na yung anak nila na kapag ipinanganak ay hindi PR, I heard before na sa SG kapag ipinanganak ka doon ay hindi mo makukuha ang citizenship (citizenship by birth place tulad sa US and Pinas). I think yung pinanganak ng PR doon ay bibigyan ng dependent pass until the parent will apply for their PR while still young dahil kapag malaki na ay mahirap applyan ng PR. SG always simplify the PR and citizenship application to attract foreign talent.
