Yeah it's a great bag for carrying heavy loads. All the pockets are so handy. The food bag weighed 1.6KG and after 1.3KG. It was too much. I brought 3 bags of trial mix, 2 bags of jerky, 4 dehydrated meals, 2 boil in the bag meals. 3 cereal bars plus 2 porridge pouches. I ate, 1 porridge pouch, 1 cereal bar, 1 bag of trial mix, 1 dehydrated meal, a bag of jerky and a boil in the bag meal. I ended up preferring to stop at cafes or pubs. Also rested at the same time.
Hi love your video I’m from the states and wanted to do this walk as I understand Winchester is steeped with history and can’t wait to see Alfred the great - I understand it’s a strenuous walk so I have a 80l backpack - do you think I’ll need a tent incase I get tired as I’m an asthmatic-. This time of year i heard it gets dark early in United Kingdom so I’ll bring my 22000lumens torch - do you think that’s enough my friend - is there any diners along the way as I’m also a diabetic - that would be helpful to know thanks my friend - thank you
Plenty of places to stop for food on the way on the Test Way. An 80l back pack might be a bit large, mine as 60L and was more than sufficient for the route. Yeah your torch should do the trick, It gets dark around 16:00 this time of year so you will definitely need it. Just remember a charger. Thanks for the comment.
