Thank you, you counted and knit the slip knot. that is a first for me, nice to know that you can count and knit the slip knot, I either knit the slip knot and the last st. together or not knit at all.
This was very useful even though I knit English style and as a beginner knitter, the continental style can be distracting. This pattern is challenging for a beginner but doable if you go slowly and pay close attention. Thank you.
Thank you for this video tutorial. on my pattern for setup on row 2 it say K3 P3, and I heard you say p1. I there a correction on this pattern? Thank you.
It's really simple, if you dont need it, don't use it. I find it helpful for keeping track of RS/WS especially if I have to set WIP aside and come back to it.
I've been watching your pad casts for the NightShift Shawl! they are extremely helpful. I do have a question! I've been doing a 'test' run with scrap yarn - and when its time to change yarns (Sec 1 Row 1) to color B - color A ended three stitches from the end (as I create that I-cord edging. so now I've got color A hanging off the back side while I work color B! when I switch back to color A I have this yarn dragging along the back of the work! Yikes. and sadly, my shawl start looks nothing like yours! how do you handle changing colors? many thanks.
Andrea Mowry's own channel has a video on doing color changes with an I cord border. It helped me immensely, I had the same problem as you! Check out her channel!
Thank you! This is incredibly helpful.

Thank you so much! I always second guess myself in the beginning then end up doing things over, and over, and over. . .

How do I get a paper pattern for andrea mowry shawl? Thankyou Angela
Why add the stitch marker? Pattern doesn’t say to add. This is my first shawl project so trying to understand. Thanks!!
I was wondering the same thing!!
there's no need for the stitch marker.
I wondered the same thing.
I don't understand the need for the stitch marker either. Gets in the way especially when doing the set-up.

Thank you🧶
I think there is a mistake with the first rows... like it's on the right side and it says it's on the wrong side.. sorry if I'm wrong, thanks

Do you know. If the alpacas are humanely treated & sheared? I want to use more natural fibers, but I know that the animals are treated brutally
I dislike the way she knits.
