@@lumiere1897 I have a very problematic oven. It always requires more time (if I raise the temperature, it burns the food). I preheated it at a low temperature, and baked the citron for a long time, checking after 45 min to see if it was ready... It took approx 55 minutes!
TriviRocks my oven works just fine and I also doubled the batch. It took 55 minutes at 350 F. But cakes just came out of the oven and they look delicious!😋
It is cool. I have done it. The decoration, I cut the lime’s leafs from my garden as marble leaf shape and put on my cake. Before starting, I am worry because there are many steps so I have prepared myself and replayed your clip so many times. OMG!!! my result is quite good both yummy and decoration. Ummm… I filled some of salt into icing sauce. More tasty that is Thai style. If food is so sweet, it will be balance with salt. Thank you very much for your tutor and I plan to do next for your menu.

that feel when you finally don't have to convert a recipe because it's not in FUs (incomprehensible freedom units) triying this today; doubled the ingredients, but a bit apprehensive about amount of zest i put in... and i probably overbeat it too. i'll write more later, but so far i can say that the lemon juice+powder sugar combo actually tastes well.
ok so: it turned out really well. i used a silicone form with convection on, baked for 30 minutes on about 160⁰-170⁰C (always check for yoursef!). the glaze really adds a lemon taste, but it's not bitter at all. be careful getting it out of the form, it's pretty soft. don't be like me and eat half the glaze while cooking! it's good, but the cake will be even better with it

i tried this recipe yesterday and it tastes so nice !! i’d recommend doubling the recipe :) the lemon glaze was a tad too sweet for me but it’s totally understandable bc its basically just a bunch of powdered sugar and some lemon juice. it gives a boost of lemon flavor though !! thank you for the recipe
@@starsintrash9218 hello!! yes it did 😊 i’m not sure about the science behind it but its the same for a lot of other genius recipes, you don’t need baking powder but the cake still rises and its still super soft and fluffy :) u shojld try making it, i’m sure you won’t regret it hehe 🤍🤍

I just looked on amazon. There is something called a Pullman loaf pan, as well as a professional line by Alan Silverman, they are adjustable cake pans. Both quite expensive, but if baking is a hobby, probably worth spending the money.

You should look for Terrine Pan or pate pan. Ateco, Wilton and JB prince make those skinny and long mold.
