Such an amazing group of musician legends, and an awesome track: I'm in the end stages of an incurable (terminal) disease, and THIS track is at the top of my 'please play me off the stage of life' play list ☺ (followed by a few others artists including Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, The Tragically Hip, Tom Petty and the Heart-Breakers, Johnny Cash etc.)

Jim Keltner (he’s played and toured with just about everyone) on drums. Roy Orbison was alive when they recorded this track, but had passed on by the time they filmed the video. They honored him by putting his guitar in a chair and putting his photo next to it.
You did great, Steven. Roy only seemed to sing a small part, but you recognized his voice. Then you tuned into his photo and empty rocking chair, too! It seemingly said his spirit is still with us. You are sharp!.
Great Reaction Seton Hill! You got everyone right! And you also were right that Roy Orbison passed away before they filmed the Music Video! His Guitar Rocking on Rocker! What gets me tearing up every time I watch this, is when Tom Petty is finishing his vocals with 'purple haze' and Roy's vocals are next, Tom glances over to the rocking chair with Roys guitar in and i swear you can see the sadness in his eyes 💔
you got all of them right, even Roy. This album was recorded in Apr/May '88 and released in Oct. Roy died in Dec before the video was shot, hence the pic and the guitar.
Roy recorded vocals but passed away before recording the video - you can clearly hear him in the section where they focus on his picture and the guitar etc - and the video does a good job of showing all the other members not singing those lines. Incredible band. For me, Handle with Care is an even better song.
Hey man you did better than most other reactions I've seen on picking out those legends! They all just happened to be friends and living in LA, and through a series of circumstances a supergroup was created.
RIP Roy, George & Tom. You won't be sorry listening to more of their recordings. Roy was recorded but died before the filming, hence his guitar in the rocker and his photo in the background.
Nobody's mentioning that Roy was singing the verse when they showed his photo. "Well it's alright. Even when push comes to shove If you've got someone to love...."
Thanks for sharing that. Watched this video many times over the years and never realized Roy's singing was included. I rewatched this reaction after reading your comment, listened carefully, and got goosebumps! Makes the tribute even more touching.
@@6916dog That was mentioned in one of the first comments here already. Everyone was pointing out the rocking chair and the photo, but nobody was pointing out he was singing at the time they were shown.
George Harrison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison. Roy had passes before they made the video so they all honored him by placing a guitar on a moving rocking chair with his photo on a table next to it. They recorded a couple of albums. Now Tom & George are also gone.
The Traveling Wilburys is a rock supergroup from 1988, made up of Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, & Jeff Lynne. They had a lot of great songs such as "Handle With Care", "Heading For The Light", "Inside Out", "Tweeter & The Monkey Man", "Dirty World", "Last Night", "She's My Baby", "Rattled", "Nobody's Child", "Congratulations" etc. Roy Orbison had passed away when "End Of The Line" was released & they paid tribute to him with his guitar in the rocking chair. Sadly only 2 guys are now left from this group (Bob Dylan & Jeff Lynne).
Roy was alive for the studio recording of this, and his voice is present in this. But, he passed away before the video was shot. If you look closely, just before they showed Roy's picture, you can see a rocking chair that has Roy's guitar in it.
in my opinion, this album is one of the best ever made. every long road trip ever went on when I was younger had this album playing the whole time. not a single bad song on it
The whole idea of the group came from Jeff Lynne and George Harrison. Jeff brought Roy into the studio after decades in retirement. Jeff tells the story in a great film I believe it's titled "Mr. Blue Sky. The story of Jeff Lynne" 👍😎❤️
💯 You got em all correct and in proper order! And you even caught on to Roy's picture. You missed that he had the lead vocal right as you caught his pic, though. You got the rocking chair too. Tweeter and the Monkey Man is a jam. The whole album is great though. On the album cover is the empty chair for their lost brother, Lefty Wilbury, same as Roy's chair with his guitar and picture. I love this, great musicians that are close friends and leave ego at the door.

Drumming Legend Jim Keltner was not an actual member of the band , who all assumed alternate "Wilbury" names . Harrison was Nelson Wilbury , Jeff Lynne was "Otis" , Roy Orbison was "Lefty" , Petty was "Charlie T." and Dylan was "Lucky" , so in band notes he was "Buster Sidebury" 😎
