My Ridge brain is expecting the Turbo to rapidly fill up after your drifts. : D It looks like fun though, and seems smoother than some of the B-tier home console racers. : )
The CPU bots scale the difficulty according to number of laps you set in Test Menu, thats why the yellow guy (GUNZ) are programmed to always come in 1st place unless you hit him and use turbo in the final straight. To have a chance to win at Bowel and Segal, you need to hit the opponents so you will see a "+ + + + + + + +" in the Turbo Meter in the HUD as every "+" is a multipler of the opponents you succesful hit, the more " + " you see, the faster the Turbo will recharge/fill, so in theory you will get more Turbos to use in one race and will be easier to win the race.
I consider myself very familiar with emulators but I had so much trouble setting up Modeler that I gave up. Can’t get my DualShock 4 to work, can’t get a 4:3 image in 1080p, it just seems like it has too many issues for me to setup.
That’s a shame, there’s some classics there. Most of the time I’m using my wheel, but this was with a ps3 sixaxis. I did have a weird mapping set up, but I can’t remember having any real trouble with it.

Cool, I thought hitting opponents for the + was just for the ranking. Didn’t realise it affected turbo too 👍
