Wow, you are quite a find for me. I have been checking out Tokyo Disney and you are a wealth of informatioln. Am excited to join you in Japan and your other travels.
Totally get the excitement! Tokyo Disney is amazing, and Eileen's videos are super helpful. Hope you have a blast planning your trip! Can't wait to see what adventures you share from Japan! 🌟✨
I had my first trip out of the U.S. this year now I’m planning a trip to Tokyo and this will be my first time going to Disneyland/Sea I’m sooooooooo excited!
We are going to Japan in March and this video is absolutely a gem! Thanks for all the useful info and helped us decide on this very difficult decision to make 😅
so helpful, thank you for sharing! :) i'm currently planning a trip for 2025- when do you think is the best time to go to disneysea/disneyland for the least crowds?
Welllllll I’ve been in March and April (which is considered busy because of Sakura season) and around Halloween and holidays (which is also considered busy) and I wouldn’t say that it’s so busy that you cannot enjoy the parks. In my opinion, even if it’s super busy, you can still really enjoy the park
Thanks for the information! We are planning to go during the sakura season. We wanted to go to Disneysea but decided not to go because it can be so crowded. But after seeing your video we have decided to go!😊
I’m doing 3 weeks in Japan shortly. I’m going to Disneysea. My last 2 days in Japan are up in the air so if I really like Disney sea I’ll either go again or try TDL 😊
I was hesitant to consider going to either park in Tokyo as Japan itself has so much food and places to go but your video convinced me I should see if i can do it in May when i have 2 weeks open in Tokyo to sight see.. Mahalo !!
Im going to Japan in March and trying to pick between the two. Ive been to Disney in CA a million times and was wondering if id be missing out by going to DisneySea over Disneyland
Thanks for sharing! I’m planning to go to both with my husband and 10 year old daughter this summer. It’s her first time to Disney and I myself have only been to Disneyland once in my 20s. If we planning 2 days at Tokyo Disney, which do you recommend we visit first? And is 2 days back to back too tiring or should we break it up, like one day at beginning of trip (end of June) and 1 day at end of trip (July)? Thanks!
I think breaking it up would be a great idea! And honestly, I don’t think it would make difference which one you go to first. If I had to choose, I would say DisneySea. Have an amazing trip with your family 🫶
I think I'm going to tokyo for a few days at the end of the month, I want to see both parks and do a full day at one and a half day at the other. Which one should I do a half day at? I can't pick!!
Great video! We are going to both Land and Sea this May. The process seems overwhelming for booking, priority passes... do you have any recommendations on how to get the most out of these parks and what type of passes should I get? Are there benefits to staying at resort for better access to the parks? Please let me know, thanks.
The hotels are expensive and fill up fast so I never got a chance to stay at the park. Getting to the park by train is pretty simple anyway so I don’t mind. I would only get a Disney Premier Access if there a specific ride that you want to ride on. Depending on the day - the wait could also be reasonable so you might not even need one :)
Hey! If you have 2 days does it makes sense to do both parks? Or pick one and take your time? I don’t want to miss out on anything so it’s hard to decide.
Is it worth doing DisneySea, but getting an after 5 pass for Disneyland? I’ve been to Disneyland CA and Magic Kingdom in Disney World, but really want to ride the Pooh ride and Beauty & the Beast ride. On the other hand, knowing Disney Sea is more unique and I don’t want to cut our time short there 😅
I was wondering if late September less busy tine to visit or early April? Also can we get 3 day pass so spend 2 days in Disney sea and one day in Disney land? Or do you think one day each would be diffidence. Please note we have been to California one and enjoyed it, thank you 🙏
Hey there! Just out of curiosity did you need to avoid any issues with Disney to make this video? I want to post one but am worried about the copyright
is it possible to tour both parks in the same day? like when you leave in disneyland and go to disneysea in the afternoon. then go back to disneyland again? are the tickets valid like that?
i can't visit disneyland in australia obviously, is disneysea still better knowing i probably cant see a disneyland ever? i only really interested in the pirates/splash mountain ride but probably not as good as disneysea overall, right?
If you won’t be able to visit any other Disneyland in the world, and you really want to see Pirates and Splash Mountain, you will not be disappointed with Tokyo Disneyland.
Love your video. Do you know if it's still worth going to either theme park during January (winter)? I know most people prefer warmer weather but we are planning to head to Tokyo from New Zealand early 2025 and don't want to miss out taking our two kids while there!
We are going to both, is there any pro tip so we can save time queuing (besides paying the DPA) And which one is more tiring ? We want to go there first, since we have children
No other pro tip than buying DPA 😅 and using the Disney App to track wait times. If you have little ones, there will more activities in Disneyland for them…which may mean it’s also more tiring haha
Hello, I'm going to DisneySea in august from puerto rico and I have no clue how everything works. Do you know if by calling the Disney hotel phone there may be availability that you don't find on the website like the day past to fantasy springs.
Hi there - the official website has a lot of useful information. I would start there before calling, especially considering the potential language barrier
Travelling to japan in May this year for the first time with my wife and son who will be just under 2. I love thrill rides but my wife doesn't,. She only enjoys semi-trill and I imagine we will be taking turns doing rides as someone will need to be with our son whilst the other person is on a ride. I notice you mentioned something about DisneySea being limited for solo riders? Alternatively we will be going on the kid rides if my son isn't too scared. Would you recommend Disneyland or DisneySea if we had to choose?
Disneyland doesn’t have single rider, and DisneySea only has single rider on 2 rides (Indiana Jones - semi thrill and Raging Spirits - thrill). I recommend DisneySea, it will have something for you, your wife, and your 2 year old!
4:34 Personally, I am disappointed and upset because I still want to make an official animated movie about my favorite Tokyo Disneysea theme park in Japan someday.
Last 2 times I only ate curry popcorn and a churro for the duration of the park visits so I could ride as much as possible!! Once I had a whole bucket of currey popcorn that lost its crunch on the get go :(( The churro was excellent!
I did both parks last year when I was there. 9am-3pm Disneyland and 3pm-9pm at Disney Sea. We rode Poo's Hunny hunt, Space Mountain, Star Tours, Big thunder Mountain, splash mountain and Jungle cruise. Shopped and ate. Then went to Disney sea and rode tower of terror, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Sinbads, Raging Spirits, Indiana Jones and 20,000 leagues. We did both parks because my friend had never been and we were going to Osaka at 6am the next morning to go to Universal the next day.
I am going soon with someone who most definitely won't have another chance to visit Japan or (any) Disneyland other that Japan's, so I really don't know which park to choose for them. So, my question is: is it wise to choose rides from both of them in a day? Will we be able to travel between parks easily? I'm thinking of doing half of the day in Disneyland and the other half at Disneysea. What's your opinion on this? Is it worth the trouble or should we stick to Disneyland?
It’s really easy to get between both parks. Just a short train ride on the Disney Resort line. If this is the ONLY chance for your friend to visit the parks, then you can consider visiting both in one day. I’ve never done it, and for me, one whole day at 1 park still isn’t enough.
hello.. Nice content! I was wonder compared to the all parks in Orlando does it worth visiting in Tokyo (since i would have to "lose" a hole day and there is A LOT to see in Japan..)
Hello. It will be my first trip abroad and my first Disney experience. I have 3 days in Tokyo, the other days are in other cities. So I might spare a day for Disney. disneyland or disneysea? No one really said anything. If you were in this situation, which one would you prefer to go to?
I have been trying to purchase evening tickets, but the site won’t let me! How do you do it?? I click the option but then it only shows 1-day passports.
Thank you, this was so helpful! I am heading to Japan early next year and can only go to one of the Disney parks. Which park would you recommend for someone who has never been to a Disneyland?
Just discovered your videos.can i ask,is there any "safe" food for muslim (not contain any pork, glutine, etc) there?because im a muslim and plan to go there with my 8yo son but im worry about food and dont want my son to be starving while we're there 😬
Great question - the best way to check is to go on the Disney resort website and look at the food options ahead of time and see what halal options they will have for you

Thank you Eileen! Do you recommend going to both parks with an almost 3 year old? It would be our first Disney visit EVER. We also can only spend 5 days in Tokyo cuz it is our stopover between other 2 countries. Thank you!

thank you so much! how crowded would you say it was when you went? it probably depends on the month but it would be cool to know your experience for reference :) also if possible, could you tell me (on average) the line wait times for both parks?
It’s ALWAYS busy 😅. If there’s a ride you really want to ride on, I would suggest purchasing a Disney Premier Access (DPA) pass so you don’t have to wait too long. Some popular rides can be up to 2 hours (ex: Soaring, Beauty and the Beast)

It’s really easy to get between both parks. Just a short train ride on the Disney Resort line. If this is the ONLY chance for your friend to visit the parks, then you can consider visiting both in one day. I’ve never done it, and for me, one whole day at 1 park still isn’t enough.
Which park would u recommend for less expensive and/or more scary rides and food?
Prices are the same in both parks. More thrill rides will be found in DisneySea!

Depending on where you are staying, there may be a shuttle that’s easily accessible. Otherwise, train is the best way to go!
Tokyo DisneySea & Tokyo Disneyland to enter same gate or different

People spend the whole day????
They sure do!
