The reason all of those cars are beating you is because they're upgraded. If you want to win, you'll have to upgrade your cars. Also, switch to manual shifting. It's better for your race times

turn on manual shifting and select a different controls layout so you can shift yourself, because for most of the time in race 1 you were down at 4000 rpm, which means less power.
