Man why does Lil Pump actually make good verses in features and not his own songs?
Because he’s trying to make a good impression that will get him more views, projects with other singers, and possibly new contracts
It’s easier to just drop a verse. You don’t need to pick a beat or a hook or a subject. It’s a lot less pressure and therefore easier and more natural to do something good
Cuz he's just tryna have fun, the thing with lil pump is he isn't trying to make good music or super lyrical music, if you look at him freestyling years ago he's honestly one of the most lyrical talented rappers out there, but he doesn't care he just wants to have fun, that's his whole vibe and character, just having fun and not giving a fuck
He doesn't use his talent cuz that's not what he wants to do, that's not his style, it's like why don't metal artists make pop music they'd be more popular surely? But they don't cuz it's not their style and not what they wanna do, this is his self expression in a way
