And that's what set Jeanine apart from everyone else....She never danced like it was a competition, she danced like it was a performance. She has balletic grace, but with such power. She put her heart and soul on the stage, and one can tell she was always enjoying herself. Why the judges say she wasn't as technically skilled as the others is beyond me...she's superb in all areas of dance.
No, she's not superb in all areas. She is not as fast and skilled on the feet as other dancers and some of her performances need a far deeper and meaningful interpretation to them. I also think she lacks precision and more detailed and defined nuances throughout her movements. Her best quality is her body strength and power while still being able to have grace. Let's just call a spade a spade: she stole America's heart.
@@heatherramsey9190 And you alluded to her super power: her emotive abilities. She expressed so much more in her face than most dancers. Her duo dance with Kayla shows a huge difference. Not surprised she has found success in acting
She is so amazing. Not only does she have flawless technique, but her style is also amazing in every dance. Jeanine is one of the unique dancer that can do each style just the way its supposed too
That was the most beautiful short solo performance I have ever seen. Such balance and beauty, the music was perfect, and she looked outstanding. I will never forget that.
One of the best solos on the show. That smile at the end...she KNEW she nailed it. Travis gave her a standing O. When she hit that quint-front attitude turn and held the releve...just PERFECTION. (or was it 6 turns? i can't count) This solidified her win imo.
I didn't watch her season, but I totally regret I didn't! She is an AMAZING dancer, and she was only 18 when she won! P.S. I noticed that both the female winners (the other being Sabra) had memorable hip hop routines in their seasons. :)
Basing the whole competition on a solo performance then maybe Jeanine should have won, Jeanine is a talented young woman, but for anybody who watched the entire season and understands dance, knows that Janette Manrara was flawless from the get-go, utilizing technique and a fluidity of movement that jeanine could have never mastered. As a professional dancer myself, I'd argue that Janette is in the top 5 best SYTYCD dancers ever,Jeanine one of the most popular ones. Talent over popularity always
even though she wasnt my first pick to win this season of SYTYCD, she totally won the competition with this solo. it stands out as one of the best solos of the SYTYCD series.
@Blu3AquaMarine Are you KIDDING ME?!?! Jeanine is like...THE BEST DANCER I HAVE EVA SEEN! I SAW HER ON TOUR... IT WAS AMAZING! Yes, Jeanette was a VERY good dancer, don't get me wrong there, but Jeanine still deserved to win. When she did those attitude turns, did you see how she just stopped? She did 6 of them! That's totally insane! So, just to tell you, not trying to be mean, but I think she deserved to win! (Please don't write back.)
I think my favorite part of Jeanine is that I never remember if she’s jazz/contemporary/ballroom bc she executed all of them so well that I never bothered to look it up!
everyone talks about how amazing jeanine is, and while her pirouettes and fouettes were great here, what would this solo be without them? she definitely gave it some flavor with her other movements, but nothing stood out other than the pirouettes...and thats what everyone determines an amazing solo by? a set of pirouettes?
so u think u can dance . i know u really can dance! wow! jeanine is so beatiful. she deserved the title of americans' favorite dancer and the campion! i love u !!!! absolutely beatiful!! i am taiwanese.
@whatafonduefulworld she might not have any crazy acrobatics or showy moves but her strength really shines in every single step she takes. quality/quantity
Most beautiful, best and epic 33 seconds I have ever watched on TV or my laptop. Even porn doesn't come close to it. Ironically the solo won her the show 'single handedly'.
She is built. Not super ultra skinny like most female dancers, but clearly the strongest female dancer in terms of skill. She looks great in this skimpy outfit, too.
thats how you are supposed to do the leap she does it correctly everytime, i dont know the exact name of the leap but some people call it an attidude leap or leap attitidude or a firebird
@jisforjenn definitely true, but I mean...what was 'AMAZING' about this solo if you took out the set of pirouettes? what made her shine above all the other contestants?
@Dancerdreamifys But a so called 'perfect' dance as you said should be amazing the whole way through, the whole thing, not just 5 secs. Winner Lauren Froderman, her solos were amazing from the beginning to the end. Every move was breathtaking and UNIQUE and that's what made the judges fall in love. Jeanine Mason is talented but I feel like this solo isn't extraordinary other than those few seconds of pirouettes. I actually like her drummer kick one, as it was interesting the whole way through.
you are so wrong man... the hip hop routine, mad - the contemporary dance, if it kills me - BattleField - The Pasodoble - All of these dances are mesmerizing and outstanding performances that have been danced by this lady.
honestly i think Jeanette deserved to win! jeanine just did really well here. Jeanette did well in all of her dances while Jeanine did well in some and did a little sloppy and stiff in others.
this is the most memorable solo on the show for me. she's probably my favorite winner.
This solo has lived rent free in my head for years

Absolutely love this solo! Her TECHNIQUE IS OUTSTANDING!
Sharpest, most CRISP dancing in a solo that I have EVER seen! LOVE this, Jeanine!
This night, both she and Brandon Bryant KILLT it!!!
This is without a doubt the dance that gave her the edge to win. Incredible. She always had the best solos that season.
Her last piruorette looks like it's in slow motion!.....
A M A Z I N G
As soon as she did those turns I said "she just won the competition"
me too!
This is stone cold PROOF that Jeanine Mason is the strongest female dance the show has ever had.
She is so amazing. Not only does she have flawless technique, but her style is also amazing in every dance. Jeanine is one of the unique dancer that can do each style just the way its supposed too
DUDE! This is like like perfect. Her ala seconde and the turns. DANG!
absolutely incredible. The attitude front pirouette was absolutely surreal and impeccably in control. I can't even fathom how much I love this solo
That was the most beautiful short solo performance I have ever seen. Such balance and beauty, the music was perfect, and she looked outstanding. I will never forget that.
Oh my God.... she just has the most incredible control! What a fabulous dancer!
This solo along with Lauren Froderman's At Last are my favourites
That solo was perfection....once I saw that I knew she sealed it
One of the best solos on the show. That smile at the end...she KNEW she nailed it. Travis gave her a standing O.
When she hit that quint-front attitude turn and held the releve...just PERFECTION. (or was it 6 turns? i can't count)

Pirouette was 9 turns 😅
when she does that last turn, so slow, it's like she's teasing everyone. very cool. very smooth
jeanine is incredible.... she deserved to win the title!!!
I didn't watch her season, but I totally regret I didn't! She is an AMAZING dancer, and she was only 18 when she won!

@oesdoob
you're saying what i'm thinking. probably i've never seen such a body control before!!! JUST AWESOME!
Este solo fue uno de los mejores!! I love Jeanine!!
SHE'S MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!! :D:D:D:D:D love that she won^^ ♥
Holy shiz, that turn... That is ridiculous! The control she has!
probably the nicest smile i've ever seen in my life

Memorable.
Her fortes, i think that is how it's spelled, are perfect!
i love 0:20!!!!! gosh, i just love that feeling when that happens to me on stage (im a dancer) it just feels so controlled and nice!
THIS WOMAN IS AN EXQUISITE ARTIST... AND SO BEAUTIFUL
@Blu3AquaMarine Are you KIDDING ME?!?! Jeanine is like...THE BEST DANCER I HAVE EVA SEEN! I SAW HER ON TOUR... IT WAS AMAZING! my inspiration

i love her so much!
this is my insipiration as a growing dancer , and i believe she was the most deserving to win out of kayla and brandon
those attitude turns...amazing.
Was that NINE rotations in that turn sequence??? Wow!
Those turns won her the show.
did she won??? i've seen most of her videos from this competition and she's one of the most incredible dancers i've ever seen!
Amazing!!!!!
@jayjaywalk4life No winners were included in the all star show !
@whatafonduefulworld she might not have any crazy acrobatics or showy moves but her strength really shines in every single step she takes. quality/quantity

she is amazing
Most beautiful, best and epic 33 seconds I have ever watched on TV or my laptop. Even porn doesn't come close to it.

Woww! :) its not really a tango but the music was tango.. But i still loved it! :)
I want to see more of Jeanine!
Phenomenal.
i went back again in 2022
WOW!!
beatiful
@wilkun17 oh yeah I totally agree with you. I screamed with this solo. This is the best solo of all dancers all season. This made her win.
@SLYCoopaEatsChicken I think the "tango" part is referring to the music.
What a solo!
0.06 that was cool :)
She is built. Not super ultra skinny like most female dancers, but clearly the strongest female dancer in terms of skill.
She looks great in this skimpy outfit, too.
memorable audition!
LOVELOVELOVE
love heeeeeeer
that was her finale solo
@papyrus12341 yea but when she's finished the seconds she she does like 5 turns in attitude devant. 0:18
thats how you are supposed to do the leap she does it correctly everytime, i dont know the exact name of the leap but some people call it an attidude leap or leap attitidude or a firebird

I have a question... why the rose??? I don't think it has something to do with tango...
By the way, excellent dancer!!!
@PiesDescalzosSuenosB lol in the very beginning in the bottom left corner it says the name of the song and the artist
can somebody tell me where i can find this song/music???
- does anyone know the title?
@jisforjenn definitely true, but I mean...what was 'AMAZING' about this solo if you took out the set of pirouettes? what made her shine above all the other contestants?

theres a reason this only has 2 dislikes.
you are so wrong man... the hip hop routine, mad - the contemporary dance, if it kills me - BattleField - The Pasodoble - All of these dances are mesmerizing and outstanding performances that have been danced by this lady.
Anyone know what's the name of this song ? Please help . I really need it thanks !
even for olympic gymnastics, those turns extremely difficult
wow!!
omg i love her. Did she improvised??? ????
has to be one of the greatest solos in the history of the show....she killed it
art in motion

forever tangosolo meme
I think she is from Cuban descend and perhaps cousin of Camilla Cabello
wow
honestly i think Jeanette deserved to win! jeanine just did really well here. Jeanette did well in all of her dances while Jeanine did well in some and did a little sloppy and stiff in others.
@d4nielar "Por una cabeza"
can somebody tell me what the name of this song is?
what i learned of this video is that for every 923 smart people, there is 11 stupid people
