SOLD - 1979 Ford Capri 1.6 GL Mk 3 Classic Car for Sale in Louth Lincolnshire

NOW SOLD - Very original Mk3 Capri GL finished in Cosmos Blue with Tan cloth trim. With a warranted mileage of just 33,000 we previously sold the car 6 years ago with just 29,000 miles after taking the vehicle in from the family who bought the car new in 1979.
Supplied new by Ford main dealer E Ward of Kettering, the original vehicle invoice remains with the car and was for the sum of £3,641.77 which included undersealing which quite evidently protected the car as there is still no underside corrosion and all the panels are original - very unusual for a Capri!
The interior of the car is superb with all the tan trim being in superb original condition. The original Ford push button radio remains and the rear parcel shelf has never been cut for speakers.
On the road the car behaves very well and simply feels like a well cared for, low mileage Ford.
With the car is the aforementioned original vehicle invoice, clear plastic document wallet with all books and service book, spare keys with original supplying dealer key fob, loads of old MOT certificates as far back as 1995 and the original supplying dealer tax disc holder, rear window sticker.

I knew the old couple who owned this car I use to see them at the shows where would win trophies etc. Most recently it won an award at our Capri Club wonderland show earlier this year near Nottingham, It is a truly stunning and original Capri. 👍
