I wonder if anybody who doesn’t play anime fighters is even interested or watching these amazing sets. It’s probably confusing with the notations. And the Japanese words like sekkajin, hirensou, etc. I love this game. I encourage everybody to play this if they’ve never tried it.
I only started playing anime fighters recently since i only used to play smash and had nothing to play and had to wait for the new one. I dont fully understand numpad notations but i guess for new players just learning a few combos in challenge mode is enough to keep playing.
Hokage of gaming I got use to numpad notations because they were used in Gundam Vs series and it made sense at the time because it’s a 3D Arena game. But you get use to it like with anything. When I first got into fighting games it was SFIV and the first Blazblue game. Before that they made little sense to me but then I found the fun in fighting games. I prefer anime fighters because of the range of movement and motions and not to mention combos. Combos are 80% of the fun to me. Challenge mode is fun but I encourage you to practice combos from videos you watch. That’s what I do. Watching Fenritti and seeing the situations he’s in and applying it to my play. As well as combos. I’m also an avid smash player. Brawl was my first serious go at the game then went back to Melee after learning the tech lol. I just love fighting games in general. If not to play, I’ll watch it and listen to people talk about games they love.
I start to take my games more serious once i can find my local community, i haven't been able to find one for BB yet (wasn't this one in GA?) so that i have people i can ask for help face to face. I would love to learn more but i think you can see where my lack of motivation comes from, its not to say im fine at my level but i have no reason yet to put the same effort i did in smash, but ill keep on playing blazblue
That's how I got to BB, discovered fighting games videos on RUclips and BB was the first one available for PC and also extremely hype. 2014 EVO cheering for Galileo was extremely tense and entertaining even for someone who never played the game (yet)
JPNox that Grand Finals was AMAZEBALLS. Watched it in my room and my roommate was in his room next door watching it too and we were screaming at each other through the wall. BlazBlue is just a great game.
You know when commentators say "I got hit" when they guess a mix wrong? Whenever I watch Arakune matches I can't say that because to know if I got hit, I gotta know where the fuck the attack hit in the first place.
I meant it in the sense he was out of gas. His decision making was off, especially compared to the previous matches, which is the difference between playing and watching the match unfold before you. He definitely wasn't lying about being really tired by the end.
No. Those mistakes don't come from stress, he was defaulting to what his body is used to do rather than making actual decisions. He used to play like that for most of BBCF1 and he had to adapt to BBCF2. Muscle memory doesn't kick in from stress, is what I am saying.
"a recent study conducted in 2017 [5] suggested that it is not only the methodology of our decision-making which is altered under chronic stress, but also our ability to make a reliable cost-benefit evaluation" I opened up with that quote to make the point that stress can indeed lead to the making of bad decisions. (The study even goes on to describe an experiment done on rats which showed that their decision making under stress was "non-optimal decision-making") Muscle memory is actually most likely to kick in when we are stressed as it is like our body's second nature and that's what our body knows so instead of thinking rationally and properly assessing the situation, stress leads to the person going back to something they know, something familiar. I'm not saying SKD wasn't tired props to him for making it that far but I still think he would've had some adrenaline pumping considering this was his most important match of the day.
Wey Cool optimal Nine is easily a top tier, possibly the top of top tier. but that applies to a few characters, Izanagi being the prime example of this.

1:06:42 that was some historical come back
Oh heck yeah. I was the Hazama cosplay running a bracket in the intro
One day, I will be in Combo Breaker. And that's a promise.
I'll be watching for you. ( I won't be playing but I'll watch your matches)
Have you done it yet?
Did ya make it yet?
Fenrich has two important powers: (1) He never stops playing no matter what (2) He always gets all his damage. It's hard to fight against that.....
Losers Finals isnt fully shown. I recommend reuploading and getting the full set
Grover's grave mistake on playing against Fenrich: Choosing Ryusei's Carl color palette.
What even is Arakune lmao shit was crazy
Thanks for making the effort to upload this so quickly!
uploaded on my birthday :DDD
Litchi is so fun to watch.
17:31: how does he play Carl with a controller?
1:10:28
Woops, too much emotion.
Nice intro music. Name?
Withered by Currents
Anybody know the Name Of the Song before the first Match?
What happened to Nu13 ? Used to be a high tier pick
Is there any top 32?
these announcers are soon into this! haha!
Fenrittis Persona must be a TIger
Song?
22:10 - that was an awkward handshake, lol
フェンリッチ優勝おめでとう
Sad there is no naoto, this char is pretty funny xD maybe he is not competitive?
Thanks for skipping most of losers finals. 🙄
But DANG BLAZBLUE IS THE HYPEST SH!T EVER!!! FENRICH IS A GOD!
16:29 dude looks pissed

SKFREE
SKD wasn't even playing in the last round :(
MrAmd080 what do you mean? I thought you meant it was oppression session on him but it seemed like he did some damage .o.

He definitely wasn't lying about being really tired by the end.
honestly is just stressed of being comeback by the Jin Twice, he only has to play one extra or maybe 2 extra match, tired is just an excuse

I don't play this game but this Nine character looks ridiculously overpowered? Am I blind? lol

some if her normals are very committal and you can prepare to whatever she's gonna do
Fail upload, missing all of losers finals.
Huh. One of the matches was duplicated and we only got a small bit of losers' finals. Expert editing.
Yeah I thought I was losing my mind there for a second when that match repeated.
結構信じられないミス多いな
Commentary Is terrible, wuu guy should stop wuuuing so annoying.
No Hazama, Relius, Hakumen or Tager? Booooooooring
