To add to my previous comment, the plumb bow is also used in commercial shipping. Google the British, stern trawler Kirkella, she has the plumb bow. Some of the supply boats in the oil and gas industry, are building boats with the plumb bow. This is the future of all boats, regardless of what sector the boats will be used in, commercial or recreational. Admittedly, the plumb bow looks strange, but I find it grows on you after awhile and as recreational boaters go, we are always looking for that extra room in our trailerable boats.
Very interesting boat, I have seen that bow shape on some European boats, I was very unsure how they would perform. However after watching the videos for the 515, 585 explorer, and the 656 explorer I am very intrigued. Can the size of the fuel tank be increased?? Now where is my Lotto ticket from last night?? Keep up the good work Simon, maybe one day, there might be an order from Western Australia.
very nice mate love your boats they look stunning. I am looking at setting up in the uk building boats as im a welder fabricator my self would love to design them like yours brilliant and keep going. :)
Interesting design, well done! Please, please in sea conditions other than flat water. Pointless to stress ride and then not show her sea keeping abilities.
In my opinion that boat is certainly not ugly .it looks like it would cut through water with ease . I would call a stabicraft ugly. Great stuff guys
