Congrats on adding this figure to your collection. Shuri as the Black Panther is an awesome figure.
Really hope we could get a King Namor Deluxe in the future to go with this figure!! C’mon hot toys. Better late than never. Or more Wakanda Forever figs in general. Such missed opportunities…

Its disappointing to me. Your content has never been about politics this and it seems like this is your new focus. Its disappointing to me.
I know there's a lot of talk about Hot Toys being racist for not producing more black figures. If some collectors feel that way, why do they continue to support Hot Toys buying their figures? The honest truth is that Hot Toys, an asian company, has produced more black figures than asian ones.
I'm not hating on you but appealing to your better judgment and asking that , as you have said in the past, do better.
Like you yourself have said in the past when someone referenced the intro to your stream being misogynistic and not respectful towards women that art is subjective and it's not fair to label it one thing. This figure is a form of art it's fair that some people may not like it and dont think it looks good. It's a matter of opinion and its ok to disagree.
I don't condone some of the comments on FB that at minimum were in bad taste but just because someone doesn't like the figure or the sculpt doesn't make them racist. I feel that using this figure as a martyr of sorts, forcing people to say it's amazing under the threat of being labeled a racist is highly inappropriate and counterproductive serving to only divide everyone instead of fostering common ground and a unified community.
What's up Carlito, I appreciate that you took the time to write this. Please understand that I'm not saying that people have to like this figure and that if you don't your a racist. I was referring to the individuals that were making hateful remarks and comparisons. Constructive criticism is fine. It's understandable if you just don't like the figure; but I've seen individuals go out of there way just to be negative. Frankly, it very upsetting to me to see people get offended when someone takes a stand and points out that racism.
As for Hot Toys, I've never said they were racist. Actually, I have congratulated them on several occasions for producing more diverse figures over the years. Actually, I personally sent J.C. Hong a message saying that very thing to which he replied with a heart emoji and a Thank you. I don't know why your saying that you think that these type of topics are becoming my new focus because I rarely bring up social issues. To be honest, I try my best to stay away from those topics because they divide the audience. Personally, I don't like talking about politics or worldly events, but some times it just can't be avoided.
I rather keep this as an escape and happy space where we can all talk about what we love. Over the years I would like to think I've provided positive energy and good will throughout the community unlike other RUclipsrs that cause drama and dissension just for clicks. Hope you can understand were I'm coming from.
