Lovely stretches of a very clean river. Those sea trout often come off as their mouths only harden after they've been a while in the river.... but then they become very wary . So you were there just when conditions were at their best . A great day out and you captured it so well.

What a wonderful stretch of river. I just got back from Scotland fishing the sea lochs. Apart from the regular makies and red cod and numerous juvenile sea trout I had two that were about 2lbs, slender, wild 18 inches long with tails like shovels. They do not want to come in! The juveniles are really fun on the fly, like naughty children, some days they just ignore you, other days won't leave you alone and it's two at a time.
I remember my first sea trout. It was a good un, about 1.5lb. I was just as excited as you were here. Everytime my fishing buddy and I drove past the spot, I would remind him of it until he finally snapped and told me be quiet in less than friendly terms.
Once again amazing videos. And also every video I watch on your channel just makes me smile. Catching such interesting fish. And I’m enjoying your vids by a miles

It's been a good year for sea trout off the Norfolk coast, the drift netters are getting plenty but not very many bass. It's typical though, numbers fluctuate a lot from year to year. Good video, thanks George. 👍

Clocked the river stretch. Your secret is safe with me. Myself and my wife had a great day fly fishing there last September, unfortunately no salmon cigar. Spinning does look an easier method of fishing here to be quite honest. Great videos too. Relaxing way to spend a sunday watching these.
Im liking this . A new George vid every Sunday. Sadly im down Eesex way..no trout rivers as such down here and many trout lakes close in August as its too hot. That said was back up in Poulton last week and had a morning on the Ribble. Great fun. Caught about a dozen small grayling on the fly and saw a mahoosive old brown jump ...guestimated between 6- 8 lbs which mmm adecmy day . Keep up the top work George. That river is awesome. What a great day you had there. Do you have any smallmouth bass in the rivers over there? They are great fun in the trout streams and rivers over here. A 4 lb smallmouth would make anyone happy on a spinning rod like that. Those sea run trout are something special though. Thanks for sharing your great day fishing that beautiful river.

that last fish was lucky to get back in the river, a net or a seals robbed him of a bit of tail fin, good work mate on the seatrout, get a size 4 mepps aglia in copper, you'll soon find the big fish in the pools with it
@@adventurefishingukthe copper ones are usually my favs mate thou some people i know go to the 7-10g toby and they work well but i much prefer spinnin blades, think it annoys them much better into a strike, like salmon they dont like to share their spots!! great work anyway george as per 👍👍🎣

hello theres a little overflow pond near where i live and i caught some perch roach rudd and some beautiful tench theres carp in there aswell so perch are the only predator if u want to know where it is just reply to the comment

I live in Finland (but actually born and grew up in oxfordshire), i really need something longer to get my lures out further but for perch jigging the rod should be fast action. Is there in existance fast action rods that are 240cm or longer?
Can't really do that much pike fishing when it's this hot! Been doing a bit of perch fishing though, but i love trout at this time of year. Will be a load more pike fishing over Autumn and winter if you wanted to come back then 👍

I went out today, caught three chubblets a perch and a tiny brown before sliding down bank up to my neck in it!
