I always enjoy it when you go into “Bible humor” mode. The things you point out, and how you think about them, is always fascinating and gets me also thinking
I’ve been enjoying these subjects on “doing without doing.” The Bible hides itself very well, I can say, in terms of what it ultimately teaches. This was a great video. When we aren’t tasting the Bible, our belief is growing thin, and isn’t having sustenance to keep it strong. That story fits into what you’re saying well
I'm always captivated by the topics you bring up, and that is a great video. The Bible seemingly pokes fun at itself, but when you really think about it, the Bible is poking fun at a belief it may not actually support. Its really interesting listening to you because you point out this sinister-type personality within the Bible that laughs at us for our surface understanding of it. Much appreciation to you for making this book come alive
That story has always been an interesting one to me. I like to always here where you take things and where you went with this was fascinating. I also like the points you brought out, especially the one about the oath leading to faintness. The Bible is vague and the Bible doesn’t tell us how to think about the things within it, but the more you talked, the more I got it. It’s been quite the lesson listening to you make a distinction between a spirituality with and then without service to religious laws
Pretty nice parallel. The Bible psychologically gets to the point without being platant..we are supposed to think about what it’s saying. A covenant life is a life of faintness, point blank, and faintness you won’t even understand til someone comes along with a mind that is enlightened without that covenant lifestyle. This was a great video
It is quite interesting seeing a story in the Bible about faintness due to keeping a covenant when the people of Israel are bound by covenant. It’s just interesting and makes you think

Basically, a life serving a covenant will deplete you without you knowing..sounds like the greatest “sin” to me
It's interesting how you always like to insert the Bible's "funny" character into the things that you pull out of it
