I’m looking for a 4 season off road trailer but not for $138K. Opus op15, xplore x22 or x195 are a better deal in my novice opinion. I’ve just started looking. I plan on retiring in 3-4 years and travel America including Alaska. I went hunting with my nephew in Colorado 2 years ago and he had a $10,000 travel trailer with a heater and it kept us nice and toasty when it was 25° outside.
The quality of the all brushed/polished aluminum components is what makes this stand out for sure. So beautiful and I agree, from what I've seen I like the 20.3 layout alot better mostly because it has an indoor kitchen lol
Appreciate the points of interest brought up with the garman. Also with the remote “camera pad”. Dragging that thing down the trail those side and front cameras would be a great trail assist. You hit the trailer weight and a recommended tow rig👍🏻. Showcased some actual “space capacity” with the sleeping in the editing rm. lol. This is a good preliminary video.
We will be heading north in middle to end of February. Looking forward to seeing what is available. The challenge will be convincing my wife. Most married men know were the true power is in the family.
@@donkingdonkey4764 what a joke? The Bruder X and this is not even on the same planet. It’s like comparing a a yacht and the Lamborghini. The Bruder are tiny. full time travel would be miserable in a Bruder. These trailers are two to three times bigger. Bruder is hype and cost $20k to ship. Do the research. They are not the same price unless you are looking at the one that is 1/10th the size of this one.
@@joseph4x463 Bruder just estimated shipping to the US at about $ 13,000 USD. I was thinking about buying one there, overland for 60 days in the outback then shipping back to the US.
They are very different in many ways. The Pause is larger and might be more comfortable for full time. But both are amazing units and that is a very hard choice. I would look at them both in person.
@@SkylinersYeti I have a friend that was seriously considering the new EXP8 and he was over $200,000 and I thought he said the shipping was close to $20k. Maybe I misunderstood. Don’t get me wrong. I think the Bruder is amazing. But I think there is a lot of hype around it and we don’t need it now with these new trailers coming to the US.
Not sure. While your towing is fine. If you hit a 1300-1400 tongue which is possible with a 900 dry hitch you have 460 left of payload. 2 passengers then equals NO gear at all in truck. Imagine your first offroad where every single thing flies out of the cabinets wince they have no locks found in all offroad travel trailers. You would have to bungy absolutely everything. This is just a heavy travel trailer pretending to be a true off-roader. I am still a fan more of the Xplore offroad TTs.
I would like to see a video comparing the concept model at the fair and the first production unit. It seems that you like it better. I have noticed that the tree design ladder had been replaced by a dully compliant safe regular ladder that screams climb me to thieves 😂 I hope to have the option to get the tree ladder instead! What else is changed?
First time commenter but MANY time watcher of these EPIC video's. Looking for an all-season trailer and glad to see more and more options coming out of North America. Question tho, we all know about doors popping open during backroad travels, experienced it more times that I care to admit, a lot of the time (my) user error, but at about the 5-minute mark the trailer door is open as it is going down the road, is this an issue with the door latch, or as with me all too often, a s**t happens scenario. love ALL the video's from ROA, and as a true Canadian, I'll apologize for making my first comment a 'wah wah wah' one. PEACE
Thanks for the support! Yes, we have experienced the doors opening in the past as well. Not sure we have had that experience much since we switched to off road trailers but we know the feeling well. The next badge of honor is how many steps have you had ripped off?
Yes. They are in the works of making a bunk model sometime in Summer. For more info and if you want to get on a wait list text us 801-860-0035. We even have pictures of the floor plan.
Just way to heavy. Awful floor plan. Otherwise I love they are stepping up the game with a feature rich product and using quality materials. But hard pill to swallow for a 26’ pull behind at $150K 👎🏼
It could be twice that price for the quality and standards 🔥 the Bruder Exp8 is 200k 😂 Think out of the box... Try to picture the floor plan looking at the full tour video and understand who it is for... I love both models, they make it hard to choose from. If you stick to a traditional floor plan, you miss a chance to get it. I find both models incredible. Love floor plans of the Xplore and UEV19 a lot, the Pa''use really embraced its function, better! I love the Pa''use versatility and top design, technology, luxurious quality, finely designed... Do you know who build the riveted "foundation"?! Have you checked the other version?
Those complaining about the price have been too used to the traditional POS trailers that have been made for years. These prices are more in line with Airstream and as an Airstream owner I would say that, based on what I have seen, the quality is better. There are also many more options provided as standard. I look forward to seeing one in person, along with the Xplore and the Roam 1 in the next couple of weeks.
terrible cabinets. No locks. This takes it from an off-roader to a soft reader. Also too heavy. No one takes a super duty overlanding which you would have to do with a dry hitch of almost 900 pounds because it could easily hit 1300-1400 on the hitch whhich destroys the payload capacity of most 1/2 trucks once you factor in passengers and offroad gear in truck. Off-roader=nimble…..Most overland trailers of this size and interior from Australia etc have hitch weights 450-550. lastly black tanks. No true off-roader has one. Dry flush, compost, or cassette. Last thing anyone wants to to be hauling a loaded black tank for an overlanding or offroad trip. Take a few cues from Imperial-Outdoors and that might help them a bit. The stairs…no off-roader should have fold into trailer stairs….ughhhh.

As an older person- also looking to the maintenance..
Looking forward to your journey..
1st thing i wanna see if off road performance WITH FULL WATER (or at least loaded to simulate)
How does this compare to the explore RV? Which would you pick if going to adventure full time?
The BruderX as this thing at $140k is practically the same price

Love the Pause!!! All the details you want to focus on are welcome. Have fun!
Can't wait until they make a two-bunk trailer for my family. Great video Shane.
Interesting to see how that beautiful but heavy trailer does off-road.
I love the garmin app so handy to keep temp and security if you leave camper,is the Murphy bed comfortable?
I have that Garmin device (the 1090 version), and it paid for itself halfway through my first trip with its boondocking search capability.
One of your best reviews so far 👍
Thanks 👍
My Ram 2019 Laramie four-door four-wheel drive Max Tow I believe with handle this camper 1860 on payload 11320 on Towing

I am excited to see you go off road with this and see how well it handles and takes the beating
It’s great for rv’ing. Hard to think of something this big and house-like as camping.
RVing and Camping are kinda the samething?
@@ROAOffRoad I guess by some definition. Seems more like bringing a house into the wilderness, whatever that is.

Can it come with a flaming toilet?
How big is the bed when it is out full queen king ?
It is a full Queen size
Also is there a kitchen inside do I have to go outside to get my coffee in the morning
Yes, there will be a stove top/fridge/sink. Kinda a mini kitchen inside. The main kitchen is outside.
They have another model that has a full kitchen inside check out their website

Are all your products used or can you get one you have not taken out?
All our trailers are brand new unless we are selling a demo unit. We don't take all of our trailers off road. Only our show models.
❤️🤩 amazing 😀😀😀😀
Finally Shane! Really cool 😎
I love it too 😊
I’m waiting for the new floor plans I need a bunk house version
It will be out this summer. That is the hope.
While made in America is good to me-survival is #1..
Do you have one of these units at the Greenville facility?
Not yet. The first unit should be heading the last week of January or first week of February
you’ve lost a shit ton of weight mate, good on ya ! You look great and younger
Sweet.. You get what you pay for and MADE IN AMERICA
2022 Chev 1500 with HD towing. 13,100# 6.2 V8. ?
im excited. but i always think about tehri truck campers.... many of which have basically no QC.
Which is better Pause or Xplore?
They are different. Depending on what you are looking for or needing? You can’t really say one is better than the other.
Also, wasn’t this the unit you were having to upgrade the heating system to make it truly 4 seasons?
That is the Conqueror UEV-19 I believe
That is the Conqueror UEV19. Different manufacture and trailer.
Very nice, finally the USA is doing it right.
How many people does this sleep?
This model sleeps two. But they have models out and coming that sleep up to 4
You think they will ever make a model that sleeps 4

Shut the door :) I knew the original ladder was not a great idea....
I mean you didn’t show anything, got to see you for most of the time but man, it would be nice to see the trailer more.
Palomino and Explor setting the bar for the U.S.. The rest y'all follow suit or get out the way!
We couldn't agree more! :)
Wish I knew how to hunt, so I could go hunting with this trailer.
It is, bar none, an Ondustry changer
Wish it held a 100 gallons of fresh water!
$ 140,000.00/+ retail, 9459lbs GVWR!! Really?? You gonna drag this extreme off roading? How long will your towing vehicle last? Fuel consumption?
This guy loves to hear himself talk.
I’ll take (2) whahaha
Sold! LOL
