The cashiers are just protecting themselves because they have to work there for several hours. It’s up to us to sanitize our hands after we handle money or any other things we touch. It’s too much for them to change gloves for every customer. Thanks for the video, I always enjoy seeing your videos😊👍
My friend and I were just having this same talk about the clerks. The grocery clerks gloves only protects them. I would do the same if I worked at a register. It definitely is eye opening to observe all of this stuff that we never really had to deal with.
GLOVES are a false sense of security... cross contamination does occur and hands still need to be washed. They help protect the cashier, not the customer (as someone else noted)
Oh all those people in that aisle yikes! Yeah, the gloves are for the cashier's protection not ours. They deal with hundreds of people everyday, where we just deal with them one on one. You can wear gloves if you want, it's just that a lot of people have been misusing them. Someone might go around touching their wallet to pay and then get in the car and take their gloves off and touch the same wallet and it serves no purpose at that point. So people don't want the less vigilant to be out their wasting gloves that could have gone to someone doing the essential work and using them properly.
At Trader Joe's the cashier used sanitizer over her gloves after every customer and sprayed some on the customer too. Their system is the best I have experienced.
Plus you never know how many people are touching all the items before you put them in your cart! Best to do what you can - and I have heard it recommended to use a card over cash. Stay safe out there!
That happened to me too. It was an older guy then he went and stood in between the two lanes which made him closer to the lady in the other lane. She was like you're too close. I just shook my head. I told my son yep its time to go. Social distancing where? Makes me not even to want to go out for anything.
I was appalled at the people who didn't wear masks or keep their distance in Walmart. I think you did great in the store. I wore my mask and was roasting and sweaty when I finally got in my car. Hallelujah! Stay safe!
We are starting to question everything now cuz we are getting so crazy about who said do this an who said do that!!??! Do what makes u feel safe --- thx so much for " going out there!! "!!! Take care
Those cashiers are probably lucky to get one pair of gloves per shift. I think the gloves are to protect the cashiers, not the customers. My sister is a cashier. It is up to the customers to sanitize their cards, groceries, etc.
Shopping feels like such a hassle now.... i use to love shopping but its a huuuuuge turn off when you dont find what you need now its more of take the leftovers.... i stopped wanting to go out now :(
The News said they are washing their hands every 30 minutes. When we bring our bags in, we spray sanitizer on everything. Yes, spray because you can't find wipes.
Gloves are to protect the wearer. It’s gross that they are touching money and the items then touching everyone else’s stuff. It would be more efficient if they would sanitize their hands between customers.
The same thing happened to me yesterday with the line situation - this guy clearly cut in front of 20 Ppl and I told him sir the line starts in the back and he was bout to let me have it until he saw everyone else behind me LOL...I did hit up all their clothes clearance racks and stocked up on spring and summer clothing items for me for work $1 shirts, $3 work pants etc
My daughter works at Target they give them literally one pair of gloves for there entire shift so what she does is she made her some homemade hand sanitizer and before and after every customer she runs her hands glove covered to try to keep down as much cross contamination as possible but I asked her why not buy your own she said from where there not available anywhere and if they r there marked up ..
I had the same thing happen on my last major grocery haul...the cashier had the same gloves on for every person. It was for her safety, so when I got my stuff home, it took about two hours to disinfect everything.
Before this I would go out of my way to avoid self check out to help validate the need for cashiers but now my concern is less contact as possible so I will stand in line for self checkout.
It was the same way at my Walmart. When I went in there was no line. When I came out there was a short line. The cashier was wearing gloves but she had her mask down around her neck. I had on a mask so I guess she felt comfortable enough to leave hers off. Before I could put my stuff on the counter she sprayed it down and wiped it clean. She said that they have to do that after each customer. I hope they are at least getting hazard pay for putting their safety at risk and for all of the extra work. Hopefully when she is spraying the counters it’s disinfecting her gloves also. TFS💜
GIRL,I Hear You I Asked The cashier the same.questions, she said walmart doesn't provide gloves,or sanitizer, And if your lucky to be put at register with sanitizer, your luck!!!Walmarts make billions of dollars the don't even clean they baskets, or have wipes when you enter the store. I'm o.c.d. So this is making me.crazy.
I wear gloves (and a mask) and change them for each store, and I love the lysol plant based cleaner! It smells great and cleans well! Love all your videos!
Well I have learned that you have to go out shopping as soon as the stores open be in line and go in and out it’s no lingering anymore be safe love your videos😍
I haven’t even been to my supercenter Walmart it’s good to know that nothing was taped or blocked off that as customers we still have the right to buy what we want without hearing a big lecture or told what to get it was also refreshing that when you went you didn’t have to stand in long lines for hours because if I have to do all that I simply would just leave my stuff there and walk out lol. I always like to use self checkout so I can avoid people and waiting in long lines it’s actually faster and more convenient but yeah that one row wasn’t social distancing at all that was too many people down there like you mentioned but thanks for sharing this video and for the walk through I enjoyed watching and hope you and your family are being safe 💕💕
I noticed the other day that there was a line at JoAnn Fabrics. Because I wanted to go in and get some material to make my own mask or two, and when I saw the line I said to my self I am not standing in that line, and the next day the kindest lady who is a cafeteria worker at one of the schools where I live, she gave me a handmade mask that she handed out to the other cafateria ladies that she made each one of them one. She said she saw me and thought to herself that I needed a mask too, which I did, cut I was just using a scarf I had to put around my nose and mouth. The schools where I live are handing out Take and Go lunches during the week for the kids to come and pick them up.
The Walmart by us here in Toronto Canada, were only allowed to pay by debit and credit. I wear my mask, no gloves....I constantly use wipes and hand sanitizer, of course washing my hands. Looks like our lineups here. When we get home we wash everything down. Thank you, for your awesome videos. Love and Light
I enjoy your videos and look forward to a new posting. I feel like you are my friend, if only in my head. You are always so cheerful and kind and that is a precious combination. May God continue to bless you and your family always.
Omg I said the same thing! I was in the doctor office watching the news back in March (weeks before the lockdown) and they clearly stated “mask only help if u are sick or if u around somebody that’s sick”. Fast forward to this month we have to wear them. So confusing
Thanks for the walkthrough!! I too have been contemplating/avoiding going to WalMart because of the craziness at some stores (eg.: lines, prep routine : gloves, masks and sanitizing props, and disappoinment of empty shelves or your "go to favorite items" not being there and buying a different brand/ expensive product etc). I live in LA county of Cali and enjoy going to different / multiple stores and the freedom of going in, browsing , shopping for bargains or on the hunt for wish list items!! It makes me not want to go out of the house but do need to get my essentials. Ive been working on an order for pick up at WalMart but is frustrating to try to place order and telling me it is out of stock or only available if purchased in the store of my choice or the grocery order wont be able to pick up days later or at a certain time. So. I may have to go to the store soon and get out of my house too! As for wearing the masks, I think everyone should wear them ..Customers and employees. Gloves also should be worn for everyone too, just for EVERYONES safety. The mask good to prevent coughs and sneezes on soreading onto others and a precaution for all of us from touchong our faces and getting into our systems. The wearing of gloves is also preventing us from it too. But everyone (customer & employees) are cross contaminating regardless with or without wearing gloves such as employees stocking the shelf, customers touching items on shelf to their basket to touching other shopping items that someone else has touched before you and items you put on conveyer belt, at register, and as you pay when you reach in your purse/wallet , punch yor pin # or hand cash to the cashier, who has pushed multiple items on belt and received multiple transactions from multiple customers before you. Unless, you the customer or the employee are changing gloves, washing your hands or using hand sanitizer after each item you touch or transaction is goid which is impossible to do!! Just saying, be safe wash your hands as soon as possible and try to avoid touching your face!! Renember to keep your 6 feet of social distancing and since aisles tend be narrow or is a crowded /popular..please kindly wait your turn and be quick with your choices if you can !!! WELCOME TO OUR NEW NORMAL and we can do this together!! BE kind and considerate to everyone!! HAVE A SAFE AND WONDERFUL DAY.....BTW when did you go to WM..did you open the store and what day of the week was it just wondering???
I went grocery shopping this past Monday and the only reason I went was because our grocery store you have to place the order 7 days in advance and I buy horizon organic milk and they don't even list it online. I was standing on the side of the isle waiting my turn to get to my item. Lady moves and I'm moving towards the product and some person decides to get in my way. She just cut in front of me. By the 4th person that had done this to me I went psycho and told them to wait the effing turn. I came out with a headache. Stay safe and healthy.
Good morning sis I always use the self checkout when I go to Wal-Mart and I'm in and out I use to always keep hand sanitizer in the car but now none is to be found anywhere! This whole thing is just SAD & TIRING but what can we do but to just follow the safety rules and use our own precautionary measures. Stay safe ❤
Hi 🙋🏻♀️ those deep cleaning pads for the swifter from great value work great I always get them and yes please on the gain smells so good on the floors, especially if you have doggies 🐶♥️
my kids like to shop at my house. lol!!!! seriously thanks for the video. when you were checking out I spotted those cute no sleeve dresses. now I wont really were them out of my neighborhood. but, they are so cute for around the house. one was red white and blue. perfect for the 4th. next time my daughter goes to walmart I'm going to get one of those bed pillows. they are running for 2.97 here
At all walMart's where I'm from there hasn't been a line , very few people en as far as I've seen the people are pretty good keeping there distance... Love my walMart 💜🖤💜
I just left Walmart, so many employees were complaining at the lack of safety for them and the customers! I did notice the elderly cashier was cleaning the credit card machine but not once did she change her gloves.
Dont forget to wash your food packages before putting in the refrigerator and freezer. Since these cashiers are not changing gloves and giving you contaminated money. I use my card instead. Anything you can do to prevent catching that virus do it.
I agree with you on the glove situation! In my opinion after each transaction the cashier can pump their sanitizer ( if they have any) on their gloves 🤷🏾♀️.. I mean even though it’s not switching gloves or washing hands ,it is better than nothing and will keep most germs transformation down. Ik it probably is hard for them to keep track of that with getting every customer taking care of and out the door. With everything going on that probably can help ease customers mind in the process. Love the video 😊
Hi I have been watching and I thought I subscribed but I just did. I enjoy your vlogs. I know what you mean by the gloves they touching your items and the items that someone else had before you. Me and my husband were in the grocery store and this man was all in my space then he sneezed honey I am a nice person but I said some choice words to him and I ran 🤣. Thank you for sharing and I see now I am subscribed ☺️.
You are right I wear gloves too.im with you the cashiers should change gloves after each customer.I know you are not complaining.I dont complain either but ill never been im a pandemic either. Most of us havent either been in a pandemic its so chaotic.you stay safe and blessed.love ya my friend.🙏😇👼😘💖💖💖💖
Omg I just said the same thing to my boyfriend earlier. The cashiers are cross contaminating. No wonder we have to wipe down the items before we bring them in the house.
The cashier is only protecting themselves, not us I guess. Hopefully they switch em out before touching their own belongings. I feel you cause I be thinking the same thing. If I do have to use cash and get change in return, I tell them to just throw it in the bag. I spray it down with Lysol after. I also spray my card before putting it back in my wallet. When think about how filthy money is... I should’ve beeeeeeeen spraying it down way before this COVID MESS. TFS 🤎
You’re right! So so right. I actually asked a cashier at the grocery store (in a nice tone) if she didn’t mind getting new gloves. I saw the exact thing when I was in line. A customer in front of me paid with cash, was given change back and the cashier continued to ring up the person after him without changing gloves. When it was my turn, before she started to touch my stuff I asked her if she wouldn’t mind, she didn’t and said “oh ok 👍🏻 of course” and then she rung me up. (: money is the dirtiest of things, always has been. I enjoyed your video! 😊
Becka Garcia which is why in my opinion if I was a cashier I would have rather sanitized my hand after each customer and work without the gloves. But a lot of people feel more safe with the glove than without whereas I feel it is causing more problems than good.
I disinfect everything when I get home even when I get packages, everything gets sanitized.
The cashiers are just protecting themselves because they have to work there for several hours. It’s up to us to sanitize our hands after we handle money or any other things we touch. It’s too much for them to change gloves for every customer. Thanks for the video, I always enjoy seeing your videos😊👍
First make coffee! Coffee starts the day, no matter the plans! ☕️☕️🤎😷 #StaySafe
Maggie B but first, coffee! ☕️ 😋 yup you’re right 😁
The gloves the cashiers are wearing is not for our safety but for their own🤨
valerie-ann de haseth as it should be.
But cashiers could sanitize their hands even with gloves on , after each customer .
My friend and I were just having this same talk about the clerks. The grocery clerks gloves only protects them. I would do the same if I worked at a register. It definitely is eye opening to observe all of this stuff that we never really had to deal with.

"I've never been in a pandemic, I don't know how this thing goes" 😆😆😆😆🙃🙃🙃🙃. I pray for protection...Ps 91. We are creatures of habit.
That made me laugh too
I agree We are just doing the best we can💙
Plus you never know how many people are touching all the items before you put them in your cart! Best to do what you can - and I have heard it recommended to use a card over cash. Stay safe out there!

The walmart brand cleaning pads work just as good as the brand.
I was appalled at the people who didn't wear masks or keep their distance in Walmart. I think you did great in the store. I wore my mask and was roasting and sweaty when I finally got in my car. Hallelujah! Stay safe!
"I have not had coffee yet and I am not in the mood..." girl, same🤣❤
LOL
I think it would make more sense for the cashiers to skip the gloves and use hand sanitizer between customers.
I always wipe all my items once I bring them home & put them away
lol I love the "my kids like to shop at my house" I laughed so much!
We are starting to question everything now cuz we are getting so crazy about who said do this an who said do that!!??! Do what makes u feel safe --- thx so much for " going out there!! "!!! Take care
My eye goes directly to purple items, too. I always say if life gives me color choices; my choice is always purple.💜💜💜💜💜
Purple is the best!!!!! and Gold
Those cashiers are probably lucky to get one pair of gloves per shift. I think the gloves are to protect the cashiers, not the customers. My sister is a cashier. It is up to the customers to sanitize their cards, groceries, etc.

Yes girl, that's why you use lots of hand sanitizer and sanitize your items. It's impossible to be able to track every touch and all the sequence.
Girl I need to start back drinking coffee since these kids been home driving me crazy 😂 get up before the sun come out smh my energy real low low 😂
The News said they are washing their hands every 30 minutes. When we bring our bags in, we spray sanitizer on everything. Yes, spray because you can't find wipes.
"My kids like to shop at my house" Lol!
I miss target so much!! My husband doesn’t want me going out to my usual runs but I missing it so much

A walmart that i went to did not have traffic control. I will not go back there until they get it together. Thats crazy they dont care.
Well I have learned that you have to go out shopping as soon as the stores open be in line and go in and out it’s no lingering anymore be safe love your videos😍
You're good to go without Coffee. I need my first cup as soon as I get up.
I think self check out and a card you can tap to pay would be a better option. Fyi employees at Target wipe them off after each customer.
I noticed the other day that there was a line at JoAnn Fabrics. I go through self checkout when I shop at Walmart
That's why at my job we wash & sanitize our hands every half an hour. We also change our gloves every half an hour also.
I went to Walmart for first time in a while. I went early in the am no line n got everything I needed. Happy you got some items.
I love that scarf on your head can you show me how you do it pls
Camille Anderson I was thinking the same thing, that scarf looks cute in her.
Thank you for showing cake stand because I need one. I went to Walmart and I brought that beautiful🎂 cake stand.( I appreciate that.☺👍).
The Walmart by us here in Toronto Canada, were only allowed to pay by debit and credit. I wear my mask, no gloves....I constantly use wipes and hand sanitizer, of course washing my hands. I went to Walmart this morning and used self checkout, so my hands were the only hands touching my purchase. I beat the line too!☺🤗
First no mask, now wear a mask. First gloves, now no gloves. It's confusing
Omg I said the same thing! I was in the doctor office watching the news back in March (weeks before the lockdown) and they clearly stated “mask only help if u are sick or if u around somebody that’s sick”. Fast forward to this month we have to wear them. So confusing
i never actually thought about that, good point!
I don't shop with gloves, but I do shop with disinfectant spray. I spray the carts and items I can, and the conveyor belt 🤷🏾♀️

Yikes😣😯😨 I haven't been too Wamart in years! Brave women!
I just left Walmart, so many employees were complaining at the lack of safety for them and the customers! I did notice the elderly cashier was cleaning the credit card machine but not once did she change her gloves.
ur lucky u may shop again MA still closed up tight can only buy essentials
I wondered about that too using the same gloves! Thank you for the trip.😊Be safe!

That’s exactly the point, they should be changing their gloves after each customer
Paulina Zepeda Some stores cashiers use santizer after each customer. Thats why its so important we do are part as well.
That's very true but we know Walmart isn't going to supply that they get a pair a shift but they should at least change them every few customers
Good point on the cashiers gloves.
I use hand sanitizer with gloves on, a lady at McDonald's was using the same gloves
You definitely timed it right.
I totally agree that the cashiers should change gloves after every customer, especially when handling money.
Hey I still use my gloves and my mask when going into stores so I don’t know
Thanks for sharing your video. I think the cashiers need to use hand sanitizer after each customer and take the gloves off.
That is so true about the gloves! Pointless it the cashier is not changing gloves.
Omg I just said the same thing to my boyfriend earlier. The cashiers are cross contaminating. No wonder we have to wipe down the items before we bring them in the house.
What are all these stores going to do with all the seasonal stuff!! All departments!!
Yea the glove thing was confusing me too! So rude of that lady leaving her cart in the way 😩. Some ppl are a tripp!
I've been trying to stick to Sam's and Walmart because I can do Self-checkout.
The cashier is only protecting themselves, not us I guess. Hopefully they switch em out before touching their own belongings. I feel you cause I be thinking the same thing. I work in Publix and we don't use gloves.. basically we use hand sanitizer after each customer...
Wow very different than where I live. Only so many allowed in the store at a time to ensure social distancing. Kind of shocked to see this.
At my Walmart is all open. But they did say that on Monday everyone has to wear a mask. If you don't have a mask they will not let you in
I stick to the self check out. I'd rather have as few people as possible touching my stuff.
I used the self checkout at Walmart this morning, and my card. The regular checkout lines were too long. TFS Pretty 🤗
Thanks for braving and sharing 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Hi Lady, Just do the best you can. We can't even find gloves here in. CT.... Stay safe and stay well!!!
Haven't been to Wal-Mart in forever. Thinking about going today or tomorrow.
I'm about to go to the grocery store for the first time since all this started happening and I'm anxious about it haha.
Your hands will feel much better if you use lotion every time you wash!
I'VE MISSED YOU!! 😁
Love the walkthrough....
I've seen some cashiers use a hand sanitizer spray on their gloves in between each customer they are ringing through their lines....
