since you didnt add either the wiring process or the radio specs, the radio is a JVC model KW-R910BT. im going to look into doing the same install on my 98 ford explorer.
You can find diagrams on the internet of what each wire from the truck does, and the radio should come with a paper that tells you what its wires do, then it's just matching them up.
besides a bit of metal to hold the radio to the plastic bezel, a bit of grinding to the edges of the area where the radio goes, and installing the aftermarket wiring adapter, I didn't have to do anything special

All the wiring was just finding a diagram for both the radio and the truck, matching up the wires and then plugging the radio in.
