      If A matrix is
      0 0 -2
      1 2 1
      1 0 3
      Then sum of minor along diagonal would be wrong .. in short the value of lamda will be wrong .but trace of A .. value of lamda will be ryt ..but overall eqn will bd wrong if single term will be wrong

    Sir in 2*2 matrix the characteristics eqn I think det(A) is -5 so the eqn at last must be -5 constant.

    Sir, in the timestamp of 4:18, where 0 is being represented as + 0, it should be - 0. However, it doesn't make any difference in the calculation. For calculating Determinant we follow the cyclicity of +,-,+

    There should be -5 instead of +5.

    For a 2X2 matrix, C.E.=x²-(trace)x+(detA)=0
    For a 3X3 matrix, C.E.=x³-(trace)x²+(sum of minor along major diag)x-(detA)=0
