An AI is great at answering your questions, but using it just to code for you will lead to many issues.

If you are not planning to just copy+paste, but LEARN from it, then it's ok. Just like good old Stack overflow.

May be for new developers the only AI tools to use would be code-completion ones. Stay away from code-refactoring tools, as there is a risk of giving you the wrong answer "with confidence" as Burke says.

We are talking about human beings and human nature; I'm afraid the cat is already out the bag. The reason why there's good program code to train these LLMs is because folks had to learn by studying, mentorship, hours of clever thinking and hard work. In this current epoch of AI software for the most part these tools do not understand the concepts of good VS bad, right VS wrong. If your new to programming and software development, study, train your mind to problem solve, be curious, find a mentor and work your ass off - make sacrifices.
