This was such a lovely demo. I learn as much from Marla’s disposition of curiosity and fun - and her passing comments - as I do from watching her beautiful colourful creations emerge! It was especially helpful to see her demonstrate a significant change part way through this lovely piece. Really makes me itch to get painting!

I really enjoyed this high key painting! Then when you put the matte up to it...WOW happened! Thank you so much!

"Out of the welter of life, a few people are selected for us by the accident of temporary confinement in the same circle. We never would have chosen these neighbors; life chose them for us. But thrown together on this island of living, we stretch to understand each other and are invigorated by the stretching." Anne Morrow Lindbergh.

More light needed on painting area. Too much shadow. Esp to the right.

MaryLou Etter, that's what I told too. The light is so low that all the values seems almost the same. There definitely were a problem with lighting, it's very sad because the subject was so promising.
