Dream's own (anonymous) expert concluded that the collective chance for *any Minecraft speedrunner* getting his luck even one time in _a year_ is 1 in 100 million.
Dream's own expert concluded he cheated.
Not to mention that Dream hired from an obscure and mostly unknown service (their twitter had about 4 followers at the time of him hiring), the report had mathematical errors and was littered with simple spelling mistakes, and the entire service he hired from is completely anonymous, with no credentials.
Yeah, end conclusion was a 1/7,500,000,000,000 chance that he didn't cheat.

Actually for most speedrunning communities cheating in a run typically leads to an immediate and permanent ban from running the game. Still doesn't make sense for trying to keep lying about it as if you're well known and liked and you come out with it when first question there's a good chance you'll get a pass, but it's still not something that is treated with just a slap on the wrist

at the end of the day a speedrun is a speedrun, too many ppl are getting butthurt over it. im not going to say my opinion on if he cheated or not because i dont have one, because it doesnt affect anyone if he cheated it, except maybe himself and his reputation but at this point dream is mainly known for other minecraft content and not speedrunning (unless im mistaken, it seems he gets more views on his manhunt videos than his speedrun videos). just stop giving him more attention and itll all die down in at least a week.
The reason people are getting butthurt about it is because there is no justice being done about the blatant *cheating* in a *speedrun*
people aren't butthurt for no reason, people are "butthurt" because they take speedrunning seriously and doing this to such an insane degree sets a standard that runs that aren't explicitly WR can cheat.
he doesn't want to admit to it because of his reputation, and he genuinely wants to speedrun the game, but admitting to it means none of his future runs will be verified as his past actions have made him a known cheater.
Point blank, we want justice, but his fan base is mostly impressionable children/pre-teens who won't allow him to admit it.

@@dopeman4807 not at all because homicide is completely different to speedruns. at the end of the day what happens in a speedrun doesnt affect anyone personally, unless of course the runner says something but thats besides the point.
a homicide directly affects someone as they or a loved one was killed, you cant compare the two at all.
Btw he made a video proving the accusations false, and he never said he deleted his minecraft worlds. This still funny af, but all these comments hating on dream just for the trend and its dumb
