    Looks awsome anyone who tried using the Obsbot Tiny 2 for live streaming or online meetings?

    Hi Jason - I got your recommendations for the Mevo camera and Anker box charging set up for last baseball season's streaming, and they have not disappointed! I am looking to upgrade to the Osbot Tiny 2; thank you for providing the baseball game streaming scenario. I'm hoping I can sync it with GameChanger as easily as I can with the Mevo, without requiring a premium multi-camera Mevo subscription or needing my laptop at the field. I can do everything from my phone with Mevo. Thank you for keeping baseball in mind when reviewing these devices!

    Thanks again; this might be one to get, especially for the various Zoom calls around here. And there may be more. I will have to read up some more. All you need is an umbrella for the camera and laptop! Take care.

      I was genuinely surprised at how good the video is and how feature rich the software is. It really would work for a variety of streaming related uses. Thanks Bruce!

    Does it have 'inverted' mode, for ceiling mount?

    What do you think about the Osbot Tail Air? It it worth the extra $200 or so?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT 7 месяцев назад

      I think it is but I’m not a fan of taking my MacBook to the ballpark. I’d do it if it was all i had but the battery life, screen brightness for the ipad plus the built in battery and available NDI for the Tail AIR would have me going that direction.

    Hey Jason Can you please do a video on TopDirector. I downloaded it but need some info on setup. Thank you. Have you ever Used Motion Caster?

      @@JasonHoffmanYT Actually I am worried the software does not get updated anymore. I also notice that it is very much like VMix except it runs on Mac which is my general interest to beginning. Thank you for responding. Love what you do.

      I tried the top director at my church with our Birddog NDI cams but it is so jittery basically useless to stream.

      @@gbradymediany It’s been updated twice in the past month. I’ve used it on my ipad to stream recently setting up with NDI. Its solid. I’ll put it on the list for an upcoming video.
      I havent used Motion Caster.

    How does this compare to the Tail Air?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT Год назад

      Apples and oranges really. They are both fruit and taste pretty good (there is some overlap) but people dont usually make orange pie. Or caramel oranges.
      Seriously the Tiny 2 has a 1/1.5” sensor and the Tail AIR 1/1.8” sensor. The Tiny 2 will be tethered by that usb-c cable no matter what and the Tail AIR gives wireless freedom. What would you be using either of these for?

    • @jeremykenney3589
      @jeremykenney3589 Год назад

      @@JasonHoffmanYT High school football and baseball with an ATEM switcher so would need HDMI. I purchased a larger PTZ that I am using now but not really happy with it. I am trying to incorporate the PTZ in football streams now but don't think 4x is enough zoom. For baseball I am thinking about putting a PTZ in the outfield with presets to different areas to get some decent footage of plays in the outfield. It would not be my behind home plate camera.

    • @jeremykenney3589

      The size if very appealing compared to other PTZ options.

      @@jeremykenney3589 it’s good you have the freedom to mix and match cameras according to need. You’ll definitely need optical zoom for what you want to do. But not for every camera.

    What about streaming football?

    • @JasonHoffmanYT
      @JasonHoffmanYT Год назад

      My experience with football streaming says it needs two things, multiple cameras and higher mounting. Not sure these are these are the best use of a webcam setup.

      I can’t find a way to send the stream to SLHD when going live with a webcam. this would be a bare bones, just starting out kind of answer.
