I have to disagree. Honestly, those angel lights were a trademark, but when I saw a side-to-side comparison in the headlights, the new headlights look far more aggressive. It looks like snake eyes. The front looks aggressive and the rear is sleak with those laser taillights. I absolutely love the new changes.

BMW stopped using the iconic 'Angel Eyes' due to other brands that lazy and lack innovation. They started incorporating BMW-lookalike 'Angel Eyes' in their models, such as Volkswagen, Jaguar, Skoda, etc.

@@eperks6 I heard it will be available. They developed the M5 touring along side the sedan so it meets all the US requirements as well. In the case of the M3 Touring, that car was made as an after thought after the M3 was already unveiled and it didnt meet the rear rigidity requirements that the US demands.

Every m4 csl owner is now going to get so pissed with what they have done to the regular m4’s tail lights
I really fail to understand why the promotion material for an M4 is done in this style, with avatars/personas that are far from the target audience. I get trying to be with the times and conveighing a 'forward thinking' message. But these trendy commertials take away from the authenticity of the brand and alienate the true core audience. No artsy alterative person is driving an M-car, It's fine for your electric and hybrid range but M's get driven by enthausiasts. Thats been the biggest complaint over the years, making the M's seem special instead of deluting them. Mechanicly Its a job well done the S engines and drivetrains are truely living up to their name. But with the promotion material and styling I cant help but feel dissapointed in seeing yet another brand desperately pander to the cool new trend. That trend will be forgotten, those people won't buy M's but enthusiast will remain. So be mindfull of who you tailor your branding to. I don't know, just my two cent's.
Audi did the same thing with their RS line. It used to mean something. They were exclusive, rare, unique. The pinnacle of a driver’s car for Audi.
Now any soccer mom off the street can pull up to Target in her RSQ8.

This is true of almost all ads for consumer products like cars and mobile phones. Always trendy, well dressed, "off beat" people of all colours and ethnicities dancing, singing, laughing, high-fiving, vibing and gelling their way through their super cool, ultra busy and important lives. I mean, all of it is just an overblown marketing projection in an attempt to make the product interesting. You can't take it seriously. 😊

Everyone is talking about the refreshed design (for obvious reasons), but I appreciate BMW M choosing to showcase the manual equipped model rather than the automatic. Despite criticism from motoring journalists and influencers about their shifters, I'm glad BMW is keeping the manual right until the very end.

I liked BMW more when it was a company with refined, elegant, german designs. Now it's just trying to be loud and in your face, shouting "look at me" to anyone in the immediate proximity. Relying on excellent engineering and quality products to sell, now it's just flashing lights and edgy camera shots.

What even is new? Ig this is a facelift but I can‘t see a difference except the rear lights they took from the CSL
Very minor facelift. The DRL are a different design. Laser-style rear lights are now available (not standard though). There is an all-silver wheel option (hooray from me). Inside, the steering wheel is flattened at the bottom with a red 12 o'clock marker, and optionally available covered with alcantara, and the vents and central stack have been tweaked. Of course, the central screen and driver dash screen was already heavily updated a year ago so this change continues into the LCI. Finally the xDrive version only has gained 20 HP. I think that covers most of it.
