This is a criminally underrated video. You really seem to get it, especially the part about slapping the magazine to make sure it's seated. I always thought that tugging on it then pushing it in wouldn't work under stress aswell. I really appreciate your approach and the way that you seem to be more fight/stress oriented than 100% physiological efficiency oriented.
You know that really makes sense, your argument for slapping. Chances are that mag will get spiked into the dirt from the force of it being yanked out if you tug it.

Don’t take advice from people who choose iron sights over some type of optic.
Qualified @500 meters with iron sights in the Marine Corps. Optics are nice...but, don't make you a fundamentally better shooter.
