Hi CiCi! This will be my 3rd year winter sowing. What a bummer that you have to redo your winter sowing. I seem to plant my seeds a little too early, too. When they sprouted too early, I covered them at night because of how the temperature fluctuated. This year, I'm winter sowing towards the end of January. Good luck! You got this.😊
The weather is testing our patience. Freezing 3 days, hot 4 days, not in a row, WTH. I started my jugs inside and they still inside. It's like wants the point. But It won't stop me. I am determined to start early growing this yr on the things that have a slow start. Then we have to try to beat the heat burning everything up. The challenge is real! We got this. Keep on growin! We have to adapt and overcome these crazy obstacles. Thanks for keeping up the fight.

One of my winter sowing plants sprouted. It is something I'm also trying inside though. I put my jugs out at the end of December while on Christmas break. I would prefer to do it in February.. but I need to take advantage of the school break.. and if it is too cold outside, I'm not going out there to do work. With the warmer temperatures, I'm having a problem with my small Aldi greenhouse. I don't want to leave the flap open to protect it from any outside critters. I need to find a way to modify it with a top vent (with netting/tulle).
