MX Linux is amazing this is a lesson for all distrubtions make it simple but make it work without users intervention having to correct mistakesand this is the best Debian version that is out there.

@@irekmaster187 to grow the root partition you need some empty unallocated space left in your hard drive. Then using gparted you can grow the partition. If you don't have free space first resize (shrink) a partition that partially empty and separate some free space. Watch my "gparted live" video.
OS takes more RAM in Live boot than boot after installation . MX Linux takes less than 1.5 GB RAM after installation. MX Fluxbox is available if you want less RAM consumption (300 MB)
What you want to use snap ? It has bad reputation. Addition to huge collection of .Deb packages You can install flatpak apps from MX package installer.
@@TechWorldDeb I do not care about snap's bad reputation. I have had good experience using snap. Some apps are working much better in snap format than any other. Sure I prefer distro packages first, than snap and flatpak, but one or two apps I use are in snap format.

You need two partition
1. Ext4 type for root
2. Fat32 type for efi boot
ive downloaded 4 times and i cannot get it to boot on the usb! .....went back to 21.3
Why 4 times ? One time is enough. Use balena etcher for to make perfect bootable USB.

Because it is more than enough for an ESP Boot partition

$ sudo apt install snapd
Then install your app
$ sudo snap install appname
I run mx linux 23 wildflower & made a usb of this libretto & can confirm its shit. may even be a hack cuz it DONT boot.
Use balena etcher to make bootable usb...
