The salmon, the crabs, the hunting, the mushrooms, the herbs! Such a beautiful insight into the modern day life of the Quinault nation, thank you for capturing this!

OMG...so happy to have found this video! This place and its people I hold close to my heart...so blessed to have fished with my friend Inky Charly and to have known Tandy - memories of fishing the Raft River with Otto when Inky was busy. Visiting the fish house and eating that canned sockeye. Getting to the merch for breakfast before we hit the river for salmon or steelhead. Thank you so much to the Quinault folks, you have enriched my life and given me so many wonderful memories!!!

Typo in the time stamp about Guy Capoeman. Great job on the video though fr

For the benefit of the story and those relying on the Closed Captioning, please edit the text. Quinault is subbed with "canal" "cornell" "cornult" and other words. "Geiger Pullman" is the name given Guy Capoeman, President and master story pole and canoe maker. During the Fisheries section, the Ho River is captioned as "whole river" etc. It's important to have it right.
