- In the wake of the unfortunate upsurge of violent crime on the tiny island of Trinidad, one artist (Mr. King) has brought together 4 of his peers for an overdue address of the situation as it spirals out of hand. Each artist, boasting a significant collection of prolific material, the collaboration simply titled “The Call”, dares to express the very sentiment many of us natives share amongst ourselves…”we fed up”. Easily describable as “Five The Hard Way”, the single gives classic Dancehall energy laced with well articulated lyrics, scripted like everyday conversation. The music video further reflects the tone of the song as each artist is shown in their own varying, personal environments as they each #AnswerTheCall. Marvin King (Mr. King), Isasha, Ziggy Ranking, King David and Prophet Benjamin have all assembled to deliver to the nation of frustrated, grieving and concerned citizens, this address and challenge the public to #AnswerTheCall and share it you agree with it.
