So with that in mind, Ross Tweddell and Jack The Jobber sat down to decide which ones are the best and which need to get in the bin. From Swamp Cult Leader of The Wyatt Family, to host of the Firefly Funhouse, from Husky Harris to The Fiend - THIS is the Bray Wyatt Gimmicks TIER LIST.

I remember the strap match with Fiend and Bryan being solid. Definitely not "crap".
Yeah it was one of the better ones
That was a perfect moment to make The Fiend lose and not look weak.

Instead they made The Fiend lose to Oldberg in 2 minutes
That match was awesome, especially the sister abigail in that match

Bray vs Bryan in the strap match was literally one of the best strap matches ever. Which doesn't say much, but it was still a good match
This is one of those tierlists where if it was rated purely on the gimmick in a vacuum it would be very different.
Bryan turning on Bray in the cage is one of my favourite moments on the history of wrestling. The crowd were incredible too

Husky Harris definitely deserves being in the S tier.

Rotunda has been SO GREAT at character building in many of his personas, but Vince always seemed so hesitant to give him a big win. And still in the middle of all that he's racked up two World title reigns and two Tag Team title reigns. Pretty impressive by anyone's standards. I would love to see a new Wyatt Family with his brother and father and perhaps even Uncle Barry.
Yeah, and just as bad is when Bray gets blamed for Vince's decisions. Couldn't finish Cornette's review of his latest return. I like Cornette, but acting like Bray is booking himself is just wrong.
Hopefully, with Vince out, he'll get better booking.
I remember when the firefly fun house first debuted and Ross EVERY week had to point out that Bray wants to kill the kids 🤣

Unfortunately Cena did escape since he came back to fight Roman. And I REALLY hated that Seth burned down the Funhouse since it really hit the mystique of it
wyatt family/eater of worlds bray was his best gimmick, that scared me to death more than anything.

Hey guys! I love the work you all are putting in for us, can we have a tier list of all the Brock Lesnar matches he had since his 2012 return. I would love that.
To this day, I believe the B-Team had the most unfitting yet hardest hitting theme song. Battle Scars is up there with Real American and Bret's theme, I'll fight ya.

I don’t know if anyone has put these 2 bits together, but in The Exorcist, the daughter communicates with an evil spirit named “Captain Howdy,” through an Ouija Board. I wonder if there is any connection there to the trademarked “Uncle Howdy.” Perhaps using Bray as a vessel to do his evil bidding?

I think you should definitely go with Jack's suggestions on the ones that should be tiered lower. Bray Wyatt is such an amazing worker that despite of the old WWE regime he still has an insane following before HHH took over and made the comeback possible. The fact that you could make a coherent tierlist and have such colorful entries is nothing short of incredible.
OG Wyatt Family imo was the best. It was so different and while they did “spooky” things it wasn’t so ridiculous and over the top, it wasn’t like he’s this supernatural demon thingy but simply a man whose power are his words. A true cult leader. He also had his best matches during this time, the matches with Bryan Danielson obviously, the shield six man tag. It was so good. Shame they killed it, people often jump to conclusions when a wrestler loses, but losing to Cena at WM30 really made no sense, Cena didn’t need the win and it would’ve cemented Bray as a top guy but no no Cena wins lol.

plus the original Bray Wyatt in FCW with Eli Cottonwood instead of Harper & Rowan

Hopefully triple H has a better grip of how to treat bray
A side note Ross's opinion of the strap match between fiend and bryan was definitely a eyebrow raiser
Maybe a case of misremembering and just throwing it with other strap matches just because it's a strap match
Also John Cena made it out of the void that bray put him in
He returned at money in the bank 2021 last year confronting Roman Reigns before losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam
And he returned this year for his 20 year celebration on raw a few months ago

Despite Vince butchering the booking, Bray's creative prowess to still make it a big deal puts its at his best for me, with the potential to be even better, hopefully one day they'll do it justice
Does everyone forget Cena facing Reigns last year?? So often I hear people saying Cena is stuck in the Funhouse 😂

Jack is really underrated, I wish him and Sam would have more on-screen presence.

Naaaah the fiend gimmick was incredible, it was just handled poorly, I don't think the gimmick itself should be criticized for that though personally. I agree with pretty much everything else though so nice list.

I'll admit, I've never seen the fascination with Bray. Sure, he's great on the mic. Problem is, he's not good at all in the ring. His best, straight up, gimmick free, 1 on 1 match was WM31 against Undertaker, and it was not a good match. That's why most all of his matches since coming to the main roster have been gimmick matches. Gimmick matches are used for 1 of 2 things. Either to end a storyline, or to hide someones weaknesses.
The only memory I have of husky harris for some reason is punk hitting him with a leather strap for "failing" Or was that someone else?
Bad Bray Gimmicks in a nutshell...Vince lost faith.

Funhouse Bray was very very good in the beginning, but got old over time, he stopped doing the actual Firefly Funhouse episodes which was what made the character cool and started doing the same promo time and time again: appears on the titantron, "yeeeey" sound effect, talks, looks at the camera menancingly, call it a day. It got very boring. I'd put him in alright.

The Fiend was great until it became spooky bollocks. It should have been a split personality where he's far tougher, nothing more.
I always hated the masked motherfucker being labeled "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt.
When the character started you had the Firefly Fun House host Bray Wyatt and The Fiend. Then they merged the two rather than giving him the duality which worked wonders for the character
@@TwizzlerC Agreed - but then equally they didn't let Bray on TV as "Mr Rogers Bray" enough either. The Fiend ended up being exactly like the Demon for Finn - that thing you just pull out all the time because apparently you can't win without the superpower gimmick.

I disagree about the Deleter of Worlds its gotta be alright for the Ultimate Deletion was WONDERFUL with Bray and Matt Hardy battling out at the Hardy Compound.
Cuts one of the best promos in modern wrestling yet is wasted behind stupid supernatural gimmicks and stupid matches.
The booking was the worst part about The Fiend. If there was better storytelling behind it then I believe it would’ve been much better. Also that match with Bryan was definitely not crap. It was probably the best match the Fiend had
Hear me out. Roman loses his championship(s) to Bray at Royal Rumble (Cuz Rock vs Roman does not need the titles) Cody returns and win the Rumble match and face Bray at WrestleMania
Randy Orton basically kicked Husky Harris in the head knocked some screws lose turned him into Bray Wyatt……then burnt down Sister Abigail house and killed the fiend….please keep this new Bray away from Randy 😭
