These are beautiful, I know this video is almost a yr old but I ordered a vds in the sakura velvet matte croc and it's on the way to me! I was also worried about marks and scratches as well. Did you ever email Petra or figure out if you're able to use a protectant on this textured leather? Thanks for this video.

Wondering if you spoke to Petra about the leather protector, and what was the outcome? I really want to get one in the Sakura leather, but it would be for my Hobo Weeks, so would be a daily carry. Great video, was very timely for me; about the leather not the inserts :).

Hi there! I am about to bite the bullet on an A6 in Stardust, and I am now watching your video for the third time, since these planners are so gorgeous! I am wondering, did you get the stiffener in either of these? How do you feel about it after touching the leather and using these planners? Thank you!!
Alex Sedevie I did not add stiffener. This leather is sturdy and not super floppy so stiffener is not needed. Now I havent been using the cover that long as I’ve been switching out of them pretty often. But I am realizing that if you intend to use the planner as a EDC, it may not hold up well over time. I’ve heard that the squishiness of the pebbles can sink In and become flat. Check out the Facebook group as some people can provide some pictures after using their cover daily for months. 😊
Thank you so much for your videos ! I’m about to make my first VDS purchase and I’m scared that if I order the A6 with 30mm rings, it’ll be too bulky compared to a regular A6 agenda. Can you help me ? Lol
Hello Destiny. I didn’t even realized they offered 30MM in the senior size. I had to check the website. Lol. It’s been a while since Ive ordered a ring planner and so with that said I haven’t tried out the 30MM. But if you are the type to really stuff your planners to the max then It could be a great option for you. I always stick with the 25mm and it seemed to always be the perfect size for me. If I ever got to a point where it was so stuffed I couldn’t close the rings, then I knew I didn’t need all the pages that were in there. With it being your first order, I would stick with 25mm because that’s right in the middle in size and price.
Hello How would you describe the Stardust? I’ve seen a couple of videos and the color of this planner changes every time. Here it looks like a warm nude. Yet on some videos & on the listing, it’s cool gray.
If you still have the B6 Folio, how has the stardust wore? I'm contemplating getting a B6 codex in stardust.
Hi. It is very sensitive to me. I did end up selling it. I never sprayed it, but the pink Sakura was getting a weird mark in it from rubbing on the table.

Beautiful! Just curious, why didn’t you choose the codex as opposed to the binder without the rings? Also, if you had to choose between the two would you go with the gillio croco matt or the vds sakura matt? Thanks!
Mayra Calvani I find that with the ring option I can save some money than with the codex option. Between the two I would go with the VDS Sakura. Like I mentioned, the leather is so plush and soft. Gillio has amazing leather options but i don’t think you’ll find texture like this from Gillio. At least not in their current line up.
