He recently did a “video interview” with Trudeau that was so full of fluff and bs, it made Rosy Barton look like a pit bull. So on top of the Trudeau government spending millions already in 2018 on a purpose-built meeting centre for the Consul General, and now this $9M (plus furnishings!), we’re also paying HOW MUCH for Tom Clark’s salary, staff, travel, entertainment, expenses and pension?!

The information contained in the latest federal public accounts shows that in 2005, the year before the Conservatives came to office, total spending on Canada’s diplomatic digs was just over $16 million.

Our healthcare system delayed my emergency spinal surgery because of a lack of orthopaedic surgeons available so as a result I'm now a Paraplegic that lives in chronic pain and can no longer work because I had to wait 15 hours for a surgery that should have been done within 1 hour. And these guys are wasting money at an astonishing rate, but me as a tax payer who always paid their high amount of taxes couldn't depend on our healthcare system and that failed me because it wasn't properly managed and funded because of nonsense like this! UNACCEPTABLE! There needs to be criminal charges brought against all in involved for waste like this.
This of course is different as healthcare is provincial but certainly, there doesn't seem to be a federal party that's talking about real change, just name calling and finger pointing without any real policy that will change things.

Actually no. The majority of investor-owners would rather hold them empty, then lower price too much. There are examples to the contrary for sure: buildings, areas. But all of this was also over a year ago, when the market was stronger. Add to this, compared to Vancouver, where an actual basic 2BR condo with a bit of a view could easily fetch $5M, to have a handful of extra capacity features, accessibility, in NYC..... maybe is actually a smoking deal??
