You took the words right out of my mouth. VR is like having your own personal arcade at your fingertips. Seriously emulates that same excitement to me. Very well done man. I've been looking into getting a vest for a while :D
Thanks so much! The vest has gotten so much more valuable since this video too, I hope you get one!
"Lovely! Now my heart's not beating anymore ..."
“Feels great!”
HAHA! 3:46 *holds stomache "aahh lovely" yes dude! dont know why i gravitate to you on screen such a fan girl haha:P
The feeling is mutual dude!!! Just keep posting on my stuff and maybe I'll be as cool as you by association soon
@@AlexVR haha COOL is a loosely used term . ill keep posted if you keep posting videos
I kinda love both of yous. I might even be warming up to a hepatic vest.
Alex, hard to believe how quickly you turned this experience around. My vest is still charging, and yet you've connected, played, made a video and posted - incredible work within just a few hours!!!
Thank you Jeff! We got in there yesterday and had this ready for this morning. Can't wait to hear what you think of the vest!
can you play games like horror games besides vr games
@@Bruhnwhat There's some audio to haptic stuff you can do but it's definitely made for VR
Awesome video! Great job on explaining what was happening!
Thanks homie!
Great review and appreciated your honest thoughts - Also subscribed :)
Thank you so much!
This vest is currently $400 down from $500 with the bHaptics Flash Sale. All of their products are 20% off from May 21 to May 31. Now is the time!
That’s awesome dude! but yeah even as an enthusiast I’m not interested. The extra steps of using it...and the high cost.
@@EmmsReality The cost I understand for sure, but it's actually not hard to use. Now that it's set up, I can just toss it on and jump in.
I just ordered it. I wish you can feel heat or the sensation like in the movie ready player one.
@@the-bu3lb congrats, no heat though! That's the next level lol
Almost 1,000 subs!! I just found your channel but I'm excited for you because you're pretty cool! I'm considering buying one of these because it also has the capability to enhance movie watching and music listening, how do you like those features?
Thanks Gamer Reality! I think we have a way to go for this to really enhance a movie or music experience, but the games integration is awesome!
@@AlexVR I'm just wondering what songs and movies are compatible. I wouldn't mine feeling the bass when I'm sitting listening to Spotify or watching a movie on Netflix on my laptop. Can I do those things?
Yeah there's an audio to haptic feature you can use
Awesome vid dude!!
Thanks GT!!!
Man I want to buy one of these so bad but I don`t have enough yet :(
They aren't cheap, but they're really cool!
Hello , dear
Will Behaptics suit work with Walkovr Mocap movement trackers?
(I am asking because they both use Bluetooth , and Behaptics site the support service says that it need to turn off any Bluetooth on PC and plug/use the Bluetooth stick that comes with the suit ).WalkOVR trackers comes with their own built in Bluetooth
Thanks
How do the hands work? Do they replace the controllers? If not, how do you hold the controllers with the hands? Thrill of the fight I get but what does the hand do with something like Zero Caliber on the Quest?
Does it come with washing instructions? Good video, been thinking about getting one of these.
There's a liner that attaches with velcro, you can pull out and wash it
TNX♥ good review
What's this like compared with the woojer vest?
Hey alex, got a couple questions. 1. I find myself needing to wear larger clothes due to the virus and no gyms open where i am. Will I be able to adjust it to my current size and then back down to my normal size when i eventually hit the gym again? 2. I have a valve index which is similar to your HTC so i was wondering did you experience any delays in game that were noticable or would cause someone to experience more nausea than they previously would've experienced?
Hey Tony! Size is super adjustable and the Index works great. Check it my friend Skeeva007 on RUclips, he uses the Index and bHaptics stuff together!
@@AlexVR Ah ok thank you for the answers. This is seeming like something i would buy more and more. I'll definitely check out your friend. Thanks!
Awesome bro 👍
Thanks dude!
So I wanted to get one of these does it actually feel like a touch or more of just a vibration
It's vibration that is cleverly used to emulate recoil and contact. It feels great in Alyx, Windlands 2, Thrill of the Fight, and Tower Tag!
@@AlexVR Alright thanks for the clarification. keep up the good work.
WHEN THEY RELEASE THE bHaptics FLESH LIGHT OR CONDOM ........can't wait
Can you play half life alyx with the quest 2 WITH this vest altogether?
Great video man! I was thinking heavily to get one. As a fan of CSGO and Call of Duty MW, now I'm spending more and more time playing Pavlov VR. Do you know if this vest would work there?
No Pavlov atm. My current fav is Tower Tag!
@@AlexVR Thanks for confirming! I heard TT is just released on Steam. Maybe I will test it too.
@@ayahdawanandito8096 It's really easy to get a key, find them on Facebook and make a deal ;)
Are you happy with strength of vibration? Is it plenty strong enough?
How many years do you all think it will take for these suits to feel like the ready player one vr vest and body suit in
20 is my guess
Please do a pavlov or zero caliber video I would appreciate that since im planning on buying one please
On it!
@@AlexVR i forgot to ask can you also play on max sensitivity i wanna know if it feels worth it lol thx in advance
@@jameswinston5657 Sure thing. Join the discord too, there's folks in there who play Zero Calibur with the vest regularly. discord.gg/U74neJvj48
now you only need the KAT walk c and your set for now
Amen
i’m actually saving some money from my paychecks until my senior year (i’m a junior) to buy both of these
@@xander396 Get the haptic gear first, I feel like those treadmills have a long way to go
on a scale of 1 to 10 how much does it add to the immersion
Solid 7, 7.5
@@AlexVR hmm $400 for a 7. I don't know
It's not cheap! Really cool though. Alyx is the game changer
@@AlexVRwould you spend $400 on it? I know it's very limited with compatible games right now.
@@TheSpacemanSpliff If money weren't an issue, absolutely. It's now totally worth it in my opinion, but not worth putting yourself into a tight situation for.
Is it good enough to play on non supported games?
It's fun and a nice way to get more use with the audio-to-haptic. I would buy this with the intention of using it with supported titles, though. Mods are really good too and being made all the time.
For 1 second I though this is chael sonnen 😅🙈
lol I guess I'll take it
is that the x16 or x40
This is the DK3, the X40 and X16 are coming soon!
is this the x40?
This the Tactot DK3, but it is very similar to the X40! I've been making videos on the bHaptics RUclips channel using the X40.
@@iamkirito 100%, G2 isn't all it's cracked up to be
it seems a great device but, cost apart, the doubt is about the game support. In my experience many revolutionary devices failed 'cause the lack of support: few great games and complicated configuration need (download files, installing mods, etc).
I fear that due to the cost both of device and games integration this amazing tool will remain a expensive toy, sadly :(
These fears were true about a year ago, but support is skyrocketing. Join us in the bhaprics discord and see all the game and meet the devs!

mines coming in feb, lets just say my stimulus money is gone -_-
The vest when used in actual games is pretty underwhelming to be honest. In Onward for instance you can feel a "gentle tap" when shot... it's ridiculous. I'm returning mine. Also you do get vibrations from ambient sounds, or your own shooting. If you want a vest, get SubPac or one of the other sound-based (low frequencies) vest options in the market. The bHaptics vest is not worth it.
The bHaptics and Subpac are different, the latter uses transducers and bHaptic use ERM motors, so the feeling will be different. The x16 and x40 vests will give more precise feed back on native games vs bass feedback from in games sounds that the Subpac would (but the x16 and x40 can do both - native feed back on supported games and audio feed back on others) - Both devices have their own use cases, depends what you are after.
I currently have a bass transducer on a chest strap plugged into an amp and use Voicemeeter banana to send sound to Rift S, a room speaker and the transducer, the latter is filtered for low pass frequencies. It works well but not without it's own issues of some sounds not getting translated to vibrations and vice versa, but main draw back is location, a shot from the side is felt on my back a shot on front is felt on back etc. So for me location based feedback will be more immersive for me, hence why I've pre-ordered an x40
'k I'm going to say it ... bHaptics should release a neck attachment so you can get the feeling of being choked to death in a game ...
Sorry.
"Choked to death"... suuuuuuure ;)
can fat people wear it LMAO?
It fits people of all shapes and sizes ;)
@@AlexVR awesome! Do you think it's worth buying the valve right now or waiting to see what else they come out with first. Sorry for all the questions
@@AscentFinessed It's all good, I think the vest is worth it for sure if you're a big VR fan and you've got the cash. Alyx integration is amazing
