Belize City men busted with high power rifle

Three persons have been charged after they were caught with an Uzi submachine gun and fourteen live rounds of 9mm ammunition. The men were intercepted while in a silver Infinity in the Yarborough area of Belize City over the weekend. Police Press Officer ASP Fitzroy Yearwood says officers may have prevented a major crime.
