  • Today I show you how to remove/change your tail lights on 10th gen Honda Civic Hatchback 2016-2021. I've upgraded both to LED's and its a huge improvement in light output and looks. Overall the upgrade took me about 20 mins or 10 mins on each side at most to finish. It's a simple upgrade to improve your old halogen light bulbs to LED's.
    I purchased my SIRIUS Turn Signal LED and LUYED Reverse light LED from Amazon. I am no longer an Amazon Associate due to not having enough subscribers according to Amazon, my links are no longer affiliated. Please support the channel by subscribing and destroying that "Like" button :)

    gr8 vid. any ideas if having all the lights being white instead of amber is legal. if so any suggestions for products? also the front headlights turn signals. not the side markers.

      Thanks! Appreciate the support! I think it depends on your state law but front turn signals can be white to amber and rear turns amber or red from where I am. I'm not an law expert so I'd double check with your state if your from the USA. Hope this helps 👍

    Would these work on a 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport? Says on Amazon they don’t fit. Thanks!

    • @SpendingJar
      @SpendingJar  3 года назад

      Yup, should fit. Amazon for some reason hasn't updated the 2021 Models. It fits perfect on my 2021 Hatch EX. No difference in light bulb in Sport.
      I'll be getting another set for the front. I wanted to test these out for a few weeks before buying. So far I love them, way bright than stock halogens.

    Did you have hyper flashing issues eventually? I hear that even the LED bulbs with the resistors hyper flash after overheating (especially in the summer). I'm currently looking at 7440 bulb harnesses with the load resistors for my 10th gen hatchback to help solve this.

      Hi, mine has no issue with hyper flashing and its the same bulbs since install. It's been working well so far. Hope this helps.

    Will they work for the all new 2022 civic? The 11th gen civic is too new I can’t find any product online for it

      Hi, as long as its the same bulb size, it should work. A lot of the products I got for my 2021 wasn't listed either. I got the same size as the oem and good to go 👍

    hey I got the reverse lights. and installed both but one is brighter than the other u think its the light bulb or something with the installment.

    • @SpendingJar
      @SpendingJar  2 года назад +1

      Hi! I would at least try reinstalling it, maybe flip the bulb connection and see if that works. Mine looks even in my eyes.
      If that doesn't work, then it might be the bulbs. Try to check if it came with any burned out led's. Use sunglasses with safety in mind at your own risk since it is bright to stare at, use caution and be careful. Hope this helps.

    do these turn signals hyper flash after being on after awhile like lasfit turn signals do??

    • @SpendingJar
      @SpendingJar  3 года назад +1

      Hi! Mine does not hyper flash. I've only changed the rears and not the front yet. Not sure if it'll hyper flash if I change the fronts out. But the manufacturer advertises it won't. I'll be changing the fronts eventually. Hope this helps 👍

      If you leave them on for like 2+ minutes they do start to hyper flash. Reason for this is because they get too hot and go into low power mode to cool down.
