I love how you took one of the biggest Producer of our time Metro Gave us a very important he History lesson of Sampling and the Tools. And finally went and picked a AKAI MPC 2000 to reacreate a Bangin Beat. Amazing Content and Great Video Edeting skills 💯💯💯
Yo jack just wanted to know that I love how u usually start ur videos with the history and background of whatever ur talking about for the video. It’s important shit for the people to know and I hope u don’t stop doin it. Much love💯🔥
Man...crate digging was so much fun....I had a blast going to music shops with my producer....listening through records for samples....good times and a creative flow that has not been improved upon nor replaced by online sample services. The real value in online sample services is in the baked in sample clearance.
Get rid of that usb floopy emu and get an hot swappable sd card reader trust me. Much more efficient and sample & project load times are 10x faster #2000xl
I started making beats with FL back in the late 90’s early 00’s when it was still called “Fruity Loops” and it’s always had that digital sound/feel compared to the warm/fat sound of the MPC. I don’t use FL anymore and I know it’s gotten better but it still doesn’t compare to the MPC imo.
Yup, compose the same beat with no efx on either projects, you will hear how FL has the potential to sound almost like the MPC, but coming from FL since 2009, I definitely will be using MPC for all my drums, and stemming them into FL, Logic, PT...
someone needs to find that violin preset he uses he used it twice in heros and villans on the first track then am i dreaming on the new spiderman album
Hey jack good day to you and quick question. Commercially, these beats can’t be used without copyright correct? Like you can’t make this and put it in your beat store?
Being a Maschine guy (RMX1/MC909/KORG before that) who got back into music after 7 years I thought it was a mistake to buy an MPC Live 2. A year later and it's my favorite drum machine.
Great video Jack and sick beats you cooked up! Regarding tracklib... how does it work with beat licensing. You get certain amount of downloads every month with a subscription but you also have to buy the specific sample if you want to release the song (as it says on the website). Does that mean we as producers need to buy every sample we use for every beat we put out?
Man this shit is awesome . One of the incredibly rare times i see a beat making youtuber make a good beat
jack! you just made your best video yet imo. That you're mastering the Mpc now makes you level up. like to see more vids like this💯
