  • I have been having ongoing issues with my 13CM moonbounce or EME transmit system. The full output power would not go quite as high as I would expect and then after a very short period of time it drops to half and even less.. So it was time to look into the problem and see what I can do or modify to remedy it.

Nova for windows. Still one of the most beautiful sat trackers. Moon trackers in your case 😀.Again a very interesting video. Thank you.

You bet, I still like Nova for its graphics.. Way ahead of its time.. I really like it for its DDE data internal transfer into my projects !! Thanks, Skip

Your front panels and UI on the screens look amazing! Better than a lot of commercial gear. What are you using for the microcontroller and the display? Is there some kind of library you use to make the menus, or is it all coded from scratch?

Hello and thanks for the great comments.. I use PIC microcontrollers for everything around here.. I use Basic as the programming language for the code also..
PIC Basic is so easy I cant ever see going to anything else.. Like all things it has limits of course.. The touch displays are called Nextion and are a great replacement for using ordinary 2 or 4 line LCDs.. The Nextion has its own editor and all the icons and graphics are from their editor.. Its mostly just text and the PICs send the data to them.. No libraries, its all home made done here.. Look at my earlier videos on the channel for more detailed work with these great displays..

Hi Skip, fantastic job there. Just one little typo for the pallot amps, spelling should be “pallet”. No biggie, I could live with it, LOL
