Nicely done! Judging from some of the comments I sense that she is to be judged by adult standards by some. For me, I believe the point is that here is a young girl that dedicates a large part of her short life so far trying to be really good at something, displaying a passion and self confidence many parents would love to see in their children who may be only interested in hanging out at the mall or playing video games. She should judged at this age on her willingness to learn and let her teachers guide her to a more perfect musicality. I enjoyed the frivolity of the Copland piece.

Fast is not necessarily better. You just need to be fast enough. However, you need to be musical… make it your own and make it sound good. 20% slower can still work. You can be 20% slower but more musical.

As far as I know,kong xiang dong sets up a piano school in china.i do not know if the school develops very fast in china.i hope that the school can create many excellent pianists in the world. Right now I understand that great pianists come from childhood.we must teach them during their childhood Kong xiang dong looks forward to the future much smarter than I. During childhood,it is very easy for children to learn music. As far as I know,I studied flute very fast during my childhood. But I do not know how my grandpa (my mother's father) master 6 equipments about music.

Well there are 2 ways of living a life, I wouldnt put one over the other.
i can see parents forcing her to practice 6 hours a day for the entirety of her short life
although, i am 14 and playing this piece, so maybe my parents are like that

I was about 15 and played it about 50% slower. I had no idea this was this fast. I'm 38, and feel slightly (hugely) embarrassed.
