This shows once again that badges have absolutely nothing to say. I'm a supporter and therefore rarely manage 4k and 20 bombs. On my new main Crypto I had 19 kills and 3974 damage. I get trashtalked regularly, despite 10/10/10 badge. In the end, it's supposedly my fault that my random mates died, even though I said 20 times that their ideas were bad. Many people simply imagine that these badges or ranks also mean skill and game sense, which they don't.
I can agree on that I’ve killed hundreds of preds with 50k + kills and I’m a play player as I Solo q and rage when my Random’s instantly die in ranked
It kinda sucks how think the badges mean much like it not like you can't cheeses them or get them in like the early years and have them forever
A lot of those 4K and 20 badges come from bot lobbies in earlier seasons lol
I’ve got a friend that invites me and his third is ALWAYS from LFGs, and I swear on my life, some of those dudes are absolute creatures
Next time you should try to join a toxic one on a smurf and make it seem like you're bad but end up carrying the guy in the end

The masters badge from the first guy was from ranked arenas as well you can tell with the apex predators insignia underneath
I started to go by KD in the apex discord. Most people lie and expect you to carry them. But I’ve had more success finding like minded fraggers asking off a 2KD+ (I personally hover between 2.4-3.0 depending on the season) LFG. I’ve even had some insane dudes with 6KD+ join and once I actually have decent team mates we just win games all night.
Honestly the best team mates I’ve had though typicall are in the 2.5-4.0 KD range. Especially if they have it by fighting and not by camping and winning game after game with like 2-3 kills.
This new LTM though is inflating people’s KDs like crazy and this season is going to be hard to judge people’s actual skill of KD now.
I only have like a 1,6-7 K/D this season but it’s going up every day and very soon it’s gonna be 2
Tho I’m not playing this ltm anymore cause I only do be playing against top preds
Aim and Movement are great. But even the most mid players can have that, what most people lack is planning, information retention and the ability to remain composed in the worst situations. If you analyse pros gameplays and really ask yourself why they are making the choices they are making you'll start to notice things you didn't even realize people had to think about. They don't stumble upon great games by pure luck, they create opportunities or they seize the ones they see.

I play apex on Xbox. I usually make LFGs for public/unranked first to see if I want to play with other people before I decide to play ranked.

People like this and the average community members are why i stopped playing. Look, i aint gonna act like im the best, my aim in apex is dogshit, i cant hit anything unless im using a flatline, but i can guarantee you wont hit me either. All my skill for some reason got dumped into my strafing ability and gamesense. I may not be able to land a kraber shot, but i always know exactly when an enemy will be around the corner or come up from behind. Never dropped hot, always dropped on the edge where the good loot is, and rotate in. Constant rotations and flanking in the aim of my game. Im definitely not the best, but i do take good lead and make good calls, but thats just because thats the kind of person I am in real life, I am not a very good follower. As long as the teams strengths work to each others weaknesses, there is synergy and communication its a guaranteed top 3, great chance for a dub.
