Muy bonito todo sin tubos frigoríficos ni cables de por medio que obstaculicen la instalación de la bomba en una casa normal y corriente. Otra marca que no piensa en los instaladores ni en el poco espacio que hay detrás de las unidades interiores.
I have a mini pump installed above the reservoir (3 feet) and after the pump there is no check valve that would prevent the water from flowing back to the reservoir. This allows the pump to run dry which has caused a failure yet in your installation instructions you state that if pump is above the reservoir no anti siphoning devise is necessary. (Now any one whom has done this before should know better) the technicians who installed this unit must have interpreted those instructions incorrectly assuming that the unit must have a check valve integral to the pump (WHICH IT DOESN'T) so the pump has failed. once the water leaves the pump there should always be a check valve to prevent the pimp from running dry yet you don't state that in your installation instruction not in your videos. Bad form sir
I looked this up to see how you wire it. In the video you see the wires unconnected and then never see the wires again.. but get to see the pump using power. Terrible video!

mrRodtaku Hello please refer to the product manual for details of installation and connection to electricity. Our installation videos simply show the correct installation of the pump, not connection to electrics. www.aspenpumps.com/en/mini-aqua.html
Been a contractor for 13 years doing HVAC this is by far the shittiest video I've seen how the heck do you install the electrical even the manual is very unclear crappy product never buying anything from your line again
Hello Goodman Cooling/Choice Mechanical - We're not quite sure what you meant from your comment as the installation film is an extra visual help to assist installers when installing our pumps. The film should provide guidance as per the installation manual. Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us 01323 848842.
Useless. First there was no indication of a check valve required. Second the vent tube is squished making it useless. Third the wiring was not shown and cutting into a thermistor in series voids the warranty. Does not fit behind all units. And there was no piping done. False hope. And should I say EXPENSIVE
Paul Smith Dear Mr Smith Thank you for your comments, without them we cannot improve and provide a full comprehensive service. The installation films have been developed to give engineers with or without prior experience an indication of the methods in which a mini pump could be installed. As this industry requires a certain level of qualification and competence we advise that our products are installed by persons who are equally competent/ accompanied or qualified. The video will not advise as to a suitable check valve as this is not required in this type of product, check valves are an integral part of the pumps motor. The installation was fitted to run and is currently running on test. The breather tube has been fitted into a slot into the back of the polystyrene unit casing and is in no way in any danger of failing. Of course the job of the engineer is to assess the individual set up of the installation and install in a way that is appropriate. The breather tube could be run the length of the unit and up to a point that is higher than the drip tray but this becomes difficult to show on a film without looking as if this should be the norm.; each install has its own complexity dependant on many variables. We do not provide wiring examples as this video has been developed so any engineer in the 106 countries worldwide that we currently export to can understand the method, any specific connections would be made in line with the local area codes of practice. Cable core colours and voltages differ around the world. We require the engineer to assess the connection and based upon the diagram in their installation manual fit correctly. In 15 years of installation throughout the UK across every type of application and scenario, I have yet to find a unit I cannot fit a Mini Aqua into successfully, so I was surprised to hear of your difficulty. The cost of any product is always aimed to be competitive and we believe you get what you pay for and we produce a quality mini condensate pump that is well known for its quality throughout the industry. I can only assume that the outlet providing the product was not as competitive on price as other distributors may have been. We have been constantly innovating ourselves since day one, and the very birth of the company was as a result of what we as engineers needed to carry out our jobs with greater ease and accuracy. We pride ourselves in products that deliver - designed by engineers for engineers. I hope this has answered your questions and given you an indication of the reason. We are always here to help with any installation questions and we hope our installation films on You Tube are informative for those who are unsure of its installation procedure. Aspen Pumps Well my friend lets not get into a "match", I am a "qualified HVAC/R" Installer for 25 years. Have done several of these types of installation and apparently you have not had the pleasure of installing it behind a 9000btu Fujitsu Airhandler. Getting the pump in place with the copper piping was a feat with in itself and it still does not fit flush to the wall. Next the vent tube (Critical) had even less room to install against a wall. Its the only pump I have ever tried to install as it is the only pump my supply house sells. Wiring was fine, challanging but fine. Thanks for your commercial.
Paul Smith Hello Paul, Our response was not meant to offend in any way, just simply answer the points you brought up regarding our product. We always welcome feedback and are always here for installers should they need assistance with a tricky installation. technical@aspenpumps.com All the very best, Aspen Pumps.
@aspenpumpsgroup He is right the pump is difficult to have behind any unit LG, Samsung, Daikin, Mitsubishi/ Trane. Take your pick placing your pump behind the unit is a chore. And removing it because it needs to be cleaned is even worse. If you wanted to you could easily make a small video depicting the wiring styles for any unit you choose. It would take some time and research but I'm sure guys would pour in photos of units for you no problem. But you elect not to because your avoiding potential issues.
WIRING. The ONLY reason I came here and you fail, epically.
Is the reason none of these videos have wiring instructions is because you don't know either.
It’s in the installation manual.
We’re is the room for the pipes also? Make it easy fitting without the pipes there trying doing it with pipes also impossible
Works well for small areas.lightweight good value for the money
